SAT RegistrationProcess

•Take the SAT May 2nd or June 6th

Go to www.collegeboard.org to register (SAT is $52.50)

•Choose a location (test not offered at Chariho)

•Don’t forget to indicate you attend Chariho

•School Code:400270 (used for all applications)

•Prep courses available

SAT Test Security•Provide acceptable photo during registration (This photo will be on your Admission Ticket)

•Photo must be clear, properly focused and correct exposure

•Be taken in full face view, directly facing the camera

•The photo must match how you will look on the day of the test and in your photo ID

•Must present Admission Ticket with Photo ID to enter the test center

•Standby test takers will not be admitted

•Changes to test center, test date or test type will not be permitted on test day.

• Accepted as an alternate to the SAT• Register at www.actstudent.org • Tests four areas

(English, Math, Reading, Science)+ an optional writing section

• April 18 & June 13• Cost $38 (additional $16.50 for writing)

• Should be neat/easy to read

• Absolutely no errors. typographical, spelling, grammar , punctuation

• No lying, embellishing the truth

• Include a heading (name, address, phone #, email)

• Highlight extra-curricular activities (both in and outside of school), awards/accomplishments, work experience and community service

• Update as necessary
