(IFCC) scheme and web site now provides ‘Registered Users’ i.e. Approving Authority Regulators, Civil Defence staff, with the ability to check door label numbers from construction sites on the IFCC web site to see if the labels are genuine and have been supplied by a Fabricator certificated under the IFCC UKAS accredited Independent Third Party Fire Door Certification scheme. Further, to avoid label numbers being duplicated or used on different projects the Regulator will also be able to check to which project and location the label has been allocated to. Fabricators must register on the IFCC web site any labels they use and the relevant project name and location, to which the Regulators have audit access to. If a label is not registered on the web site this can be logged by the ‘Registered User’ i.e. Regulator/Civil Defence member, on the IFCC web site and this event will then be investigated by IFCC. Due to the above advances in your certification, the ordering and registering of labels is now controlled through the website. This document is a guide on the process. How to Order and Register Labels on the IFC Certification Ltd Website

The IFC Certification Ltd. Step Four You will then be presented with the following screen. From this screen you can order labels, view the status of your label order, apply and issue a label to a project, view all labels you have applied and issued to project and finally record any label wastage.

Step Five – How to Request Labels

After clicking on the request new labels link, you will see this page. This shows which products you currently have certificated and are able to request labels for. Click on the select button.

Step Six You will then be presented with this screen and asked what quantity of labels you would like. Once you have completed your request, please press the submit request button.

Step Seven

You will then see a confirmation screen and receive an email confirming your order request.

You will be presented with this screen which shows the status of your order and the quantity in stock. The status of the order will be either

Fabricator Order Received

Order Placed with Supplier

Stock Received by IFCC

Stock Dispatched to Fabricator

Stock Received by Fabricator

Step Ten Once the labels have been dispatched from IFCC to you as the Fabricator, you are requested to confirm the receipt of labels.

Step Eleven – How to Issue a Label to a Project

From the ‘My Labels’ menu, select ‘To Issue a New Label to a Project’.

Step Twelve

You will be presented with the following screen. Here you are asked to choose:

which product you wish to apply label(s) to

which label is being applied

which building this product is being installed in

location within the building this product has been installed

Step Thirteen

Once you have completed the form, please click the issue label button. You will then be prompted if you want to apply another label to this building. If yes, you the Client Information section will re-populate and you will be asked to complete the label number you are applying and its location.

Step Fourteen – Viewing Issued Labels

To view a list of the labels you have applied to completed projects click on the view issued labels button.

Step Fifteen

You will then be presented with this screen. Here you can search by label number and/or building name. You will see the result in a table which shows the label number, the product the label has been applied to, the label type, the building name, the status of the label and when the label was issued/applied.

Step Sixteen – Wasted Labels

Should for any reason, a label be wasted and not applied to a completed product and project, we ask that you register this in order to complete the stock control records. To record a wasted label click on the ‘record wasted labels’ button.

Step Seventeen

You will be presented with this screen, which gives you the option to select the label number and provide a description as to why the label was wasted. Any wasted labels will appear on the ‘View Issued Labels’ page.
