What is meditation?

Mediation means learning to focus your mind to one thing It can be usedi n many ways, to heal your self, connect to spirit, answer questions and generally torelax the mind.I often view meditation as a means to relax the mind and to give the body chance tobalance itself. We all have an energy force within us known as chakras. If you canimagine energy wheels placed throughout the body, spinning i n tandem when thebody is relaxed and balanced. How many times a day can you say that you areactually at one and peaceful with yourself? For our busy lifestyle and stresses of theday means that we use different chakras to keep us working. With just one chakra outof line this can have a major effect of on our body. For example throat chakra whichalso associated to the colour blue, is our c ommunication chakra. This is our ability tocommunicate with people and receive information. The physical affects of notreplenishing our energy or negativity caused i n this area, comes as a throat problem.Also we can lose our voice from fear or anger derived from possibility of losing a jobor loved ones. The throat is very sensitive and is our means of listening to spirit.

What are the benefits?

With regular meditation and relaxation techniques you can actually start to get thefeeling that everything is wonderful, f it t in g into place and nothing can stop you. Thisis because you are connecting to the flow of the energy that is within us and is flowingat a more relaxed vibration. Just like after the third day on holiday where you are sorelaxed and peaceful that nothing really gets to you. Nothing fazes you and problemsjust seem coincidental i n that time .This is not produced overnight and will take quite afew sessions before this feeling actually happens. So my advice is not to give upstraight away. There are a few examples of what meditation can do:

1. Improve your outlook on life

2. Reduce stress and anxiety.

3. Help you sleep at night

4. Helps you see the big picture and solve problems.

6. It also improves your health and well being

7. Recharge the batteries.

8. Receive messages from inner guidance.

When the best time to do meditation

Many people choose different times of the day where they feel that they can actually

relax. Some find the first thing i n the morning gets them going for the rest of the dayand some feel that late at night when all the work is done that is the time to relax. If youare new to meditation, then you need to find first of all a meditation that works for you

and all so I would suggest that you do it just before you go to sleep. The reason for thisis that i t is when you're most likely to be most receptive when your dropping off tosleep and also i n the alpha state. The alpha state is the middle part of just before we gosleep and just being awake. Most people try to recreate this situation when doingpsychic readings. I personally create this situation through going to a place becausethen I feel I have actually taken time to get myself prepared to do a reading. The wholepoint of meditation is to prepare your mind and body for a time that i t can relax andreplenish the energies.

So please make sure they you let your family and friends know that just for 15, 20 or30 minutes that you will be not available.

Why can't I do meditation or get aggravated by it.

Like I said earlier about a holiday i t takes a good three days before the body becomesrelaxed and enjoying the holiday. This is to do with the mind to relax i n and realizingthat i t doesn't have to worry about the children, bringing the money in, work and keep aloved one happy. Al l the usual day-to-day chores that we have to do. Also because

we are clearing out negative energies when doing the meditation it takes time to dothis. Another way is to sit i n nature which helps to release energy. The mind and

body can get aggravated with trying to relax when it has so much to do to clear out thenegativity that you are holding onto. It tries to attract situations, so that you willrecognize and release the e motions / problems (energy) attached to it. We also have tostart to look at that maybe we are picked up negativity and energy from other people thatwe have tried to heal or have given energy to help them do their tasks. Remember youare training your mind to be still and like driving a car this will become automatic i n time.Protection also helps you from being drained and holding onto others energy.

Why do I fall asleep every time I do Meditation?

Because your body is exhausted and needs that time to cleanse your energy system.When we are asleep we produce energy (serotonin) that helps us to relax more and gointo a deeper sleep. ( seroto nin is produced t hrough training and relaxing and helpsus to deep sleep) If the body really needs us to go into a deep sleep very quickly thenwhen you do meditation i t triggers this state. The more meditation you do the moreyou'll be able to stay awake during the meditation.

Creating a meditation

1 Create an environment where you feel you can relax, physical or through

visualization and release the energy / thoughts of the day. (In the sun, woods,waterfall, snow etc.)

2. Check your breathing, and try to slow down with deep breaths.

3. Protect your self with white light from the energies around you. (Either imagine awhite / gold cloak or mist around you)

4. Keep focused on something to stop you from dropping off but i f you feel you need a

sleep then let it happen. For example a candle, place or by saying a word, "Love", "peace"or Om. Let this word resonate through your body.

5. Never force a meditation and don't concentrate on information given. Specify whenyou would like to receive information, and when receive it, recognize, thanks formessage and let go for energy is free flowing and you may stop another message.

6. If your are looking for guidance for others, then imagine them being immersed i nthe lovely energy you have created.

7. Be humble and grateful for what you have received, remember a single feeling orcolour takes allot of energy and means allot, so ask questions after meditation i funsure of the meaning.

By learning to breathe properly you can get the balance of the energy flowing properlyagain.

Make sure you are relaxed and won’t be interrupted; turn the phone off and letpeople know you want some time to yourself.You do not have to see my description for it to work you can feel it instead.First of all, take a few deep and calming breaths.Then let go of everything that has happened today.

Close your eyes and in your minds eye, see yourself being protected i n whitelightYou feel lighter and lighter like a feather,

Each breathe you are releasing the negative energy of the day, getting lighter.

Okay, now imagine yourself floating, you are f ly ing

Over trees, hills, lakesOver...do not give thought to what you are doing just fly

feel the windfeel the sun on your face

feel alive and free of worriesFree from the weight you carry the burdens

As you are f ly ing you notice colours getting brighter and brighterpassing you by, you feel lighter and lighterDifferent colours with different feelingsDifferent energies can be seen

You see a golden triangle, f ly through the triangle

You land on top of the world, you see i n front your favourite place this can be amountain, a wood, a beach, a garden ful l of flowers (choose your place), andyou can see all the energies around you (mine is the cl if f over the sea)

look around you, hear the gulls, feel the sun on your face, taste the salt fromsea breeze, smell the freshnessEverything you look at has a different energy

Your energy starts to leave your bodyDifferent colours, starting to connect with everything around youYou feel lightYour heart is beating

You feel the energy passing through your heartjoining with everythingYou are one, you are safe and you are loved.

You are part of the universe, what you put out you get backImagine a thought you want answering, a question and watch how the answercomes back.Visualize lovely white light around you, i f at night imagine purple.

Meditation diary

By collecting information from each meditation, you can start to see a pictureemerging. Sometimes all we get are symbols for this is the easiest way for the guides totalk to us without the brain assessing what it means. In time symbols, feelings willreturn and you will understand what they are saying. A red rose can be love from thespirit world, a symbol of someone who liked red rose or sign of celebration. If you areinterested i n talking to guides or doing readings, then this is certainly a way of notingdown your experiences. You can even evolve the diary into more aspects of your life, toclear problems you hold onto, negative situation and clear insight gained from thoughtsyou don't even know you wanted answers for. Dreams are another area you couldcollect information, for i t is said that what we need to learn is played i n our sleep.

Find a place you can relax, that you won’t be disturbed,make sure your mobile is on silent, that people know notto disturb you.Please do not listen to this cd while driving.Let your thoughts go, watch them leaving your mind andbeing put in a book for later.Just make sure you are comfortable and let your eyesclose. Then begin to be aware of your breathing. Justallow your breathing to be easy, very calm verycomfortable. Just allow yourself to bring your self fullypresent to where you are now. Leaving behind what youhave to do and attend to. Just for this time about 30minutes, this time is for yourself, to connect foryourself. As if you are gathering bits of yourself from allover the house.As you breath in beautiful golden energy, sense it feel itflowing down into your body, clearing negative energy asit goes and that you have held onto. Like pure water froma waterfall, or shower cleansing as it passes down yourbody from head to toe. The more you breath in goldenenergy the more your body gets brighter and brighter,you feel more relaxed, as the negativity / worries/stresses just releases from your body. This time is foryou, to balance your mind and body as one, to relax ,tofeel peace, and joy in living. Take a deep breath and feelyour self getting lighter, and lighter. If you feel likesleeping, then do and know you are being protected in

beautiful purple energy as the mist covers you. You feelsafe and can let go. Breath in,Breath out, lets take you on a journey to cleanse yourenergy of the body. Feel it sense it as you flow, don’tconcentrate, just go with it, like the river, flowing slowlyand supported. You get into the water with a life jacketon. As you float you feel angels holding you up in theriver, supporting you, you feel safe and able to let go.

As you flow down this lovely clear water, flowing in therhythm of the water, you come across beautiful brightred water, being poured in by the angels in front of you,mixing with the clear water, as you flow through this redwater you feel it, sense it in feet, your legs, your knees,your hips, to your base chakra at the bottom of yourspine and your genital area. Cleansing, purifying, littletingles of vibrating energy balancing your body, you feelit expand and making the red water getting brighter andbrighter, changing to beautiful bright golden colour.

As you flow further down this lovely clear water, flowingin the rhythm of the water, you come across beautifulbright orange water being poured in by the angels infront of you, mixing with the clear water, as you flowthrough this orange water you feel it, sense it in yourmiddle of your stomach, your sacral chakra betweenbase centre and your naval area or chest. Cleansing,purifying, little tingles of vibrating energy balancing yourbody, you feel it expand and making the orange water

As you flow further down this lovely clear water, flowingin the rhythm of the water, you come across beautifulbright yellow water being poured in by the angels in frontof you, mixing with the clear water, as you flow throughthis yellow water you feel it, sense it above the navalarea, your solar plexus chakra a power house centre.Cleansing, purifying, little tingles of vibrating energybalancing your body, you feel it expand and making theyellow water getting brighter and brighter, changing tobeautiful bright golden colour.

As you flow further down this lovely clear water, flowingin the rhythm of the water, you come across beautifulbright green water being poured in by the angels in frontof you, mixing with the clear water, as you flow throughthis green water you feel it, sense it in your heart, yourheart centre chakra, you feel unconditional love flowinggreen and pink throughout your body. Cleansing,purifying, little tingles of vibrating energy balancing yourbody, you feel it expand and making the green watergetting brighter and brighter, changing to beautifulbright golden colour.

of you, mixing with the clear water, as you flow throughthis blue water you feel it, sense it in your throat, yourthroat chakra, your communication area to talking andlistening. Cleansing, purifying, little tingles of vibratingenergy balancing your body, you feel it expand and makingthe blue water getting brighter and brighter, changing tobeautiful bright golden colour.

As you flow further down this lovely clear water, flowingin the rhythm of the water, you come across beautifulbright purple water being poured in by the angels infront of you, mixing with the clear water, as you flowthrough this purple water you feel it, sense it in yourmiddle of your forehead or third eye, your third eyechakra, your connecting centre or intuition centre forimages. Cleansing, purifying, little tingles of vibratingenergy balancing your body, you feel it expand and makingthe purple water getting brighter and brighter, changingto beautiful bright golden colour.

As you flow further down this lovely clear water, flowingin the rhythm of the water, you come across beautifulbright white water being poured in by the angels in frontof you, mixing with the clear water, as you flow throughthis white pure water you feel it, sense it above yourhead or crown centre chakra, this connects you to yourspiritual self or soul for inspiration / ideas. Cleansing,purifying, little tingles of vibrating energy balancing your

body, you feel it expand and making the white watergetting brighter and brighter, changing to beautifulbright golden energy. Above your head a beautiful lotusflower emerges, 1000 petal flower opens and getsbrighter and brighter. You then flow through a beautifulgolden triangle where you see the angels waiting for you.Whatever colour you feel needs some extra time soakingin you go back to and spend a little time in that energy.

The angels lift you out of the water and you are put nextto this beautiful tree where you feel protected andgrounded as you feel the sunshine shining on you, yourfeet feel they are connecting to the earth and you areone with everything. You feel confident, cleansed andknow that whatever happens you are supported. You lookat the river and see the colours all blending into one anda rainbow flows out and to anyone you feel needs thispure healing energy, through your heart you send love tothe rainbow to make it brighter, more pure of love.Whenever you feel not connected, you will remember theriver and flow through the colours and this will instantlyreplenish your chakras or energy centres and then youfeel the suns rays which will give you instant energy andprotected in white light. When you feel negative energyor problems, turn the negativity into positive energy andlet it go for you know you are supported and good comesout of bad. And when your ready bring your self fullypresent into the room.
