What is Peace for Different People• Intellectuals: When they realize the truth;

• Feel peace when they can fearlessly guide the society• Protectors: When they win over external (or internal) enemies• Traders: When there is no hindrance to buying or selling• Labor Class: When they are paid fairly and given due respect,

dignity and care

What Is Peace For ..For Peace is this

Body No pain, Senses satisfied or controlled, Freedom to move (go anywhere at will).

Mind No confusion, no doubts, no distractions, healthy desires.

“A person who is not disturbed by the incessant flow of desires—that enter like rivers into the ocean which is ever being filled but is always

still—can alone achieve peace, and not the man who strives to satisfy such desires.” - Gita 2.70

Mind “A person who has given up all desires for sense gratification, who lives free from desires, who has given up all sense of

proprietorship and is devoid of false ego—he alone can attain real peace.” – Gita 2.71

Ego No false ego, correct awareness of what one knows and does not know, ability to control

one’s thoughts, emotions, speech, and actions.

believe in God• Use intelligence to choose a religion• “Real religions have come from the East only.” – Samuel Huntington

• When a problem is extreme, solution also has to be extreme

How to do it• Understand Universal Religion--the Vedic Dharma• Begin Dharma teaching in schools• Fix defects in constitution

• Terrorists exploit defects in their favor• Stop spread of demoniac ideologies or religion(s)

• Angola has declared Islam illegal• Economically boycott followers/supporters of the

ideology that produces terrorists

How to do it• Stop appeasements of demoniacs or their ideologies• Talk the truth fearlessly• Enact Uniform Civil Code

• Only one law for all citizens• Provide no separate schools or religious infrastructures for

demoniacs• Give no citizenship or visa to followers of any religion that is

against democratic form of gov’t• Do not buy “Halal Certified” foods

Change the world by changing the Self• Do not support exclusive religions or ideologies• Use intelligence to choose a religion for self

• Then strive to live per it correctly• Know thy Self

• We are not body, we are eternal aatmaa or jiva within the body• Choose positive reaction to anything that happens to you• Understand the Spiritual Science as is provided in Bhagavad Gita

• then practice a yoga to advance spiritually• Lust, anger, and greed are gates to hell; so control them• Never hold on to negative feelings or emotions

Live Sin-free• Sin is an act against the teaching of Dharma

• Sin is any act that makes one’s spiritual fall• Vedic is universal religion for mankind, and therefore it is called

Dharma• Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism are offshoots from the Vedic dharma

• Develop compassion for all living beings• Do not cause pain or suffering to others• Make others and God happy when you can

• Eat veg foods, do not gamble• No drugs, no sex out of marriage, no muthaa

Universal Prayers from the Vedas• May everyone be prosperous. • May the peacemakers righteously rule the Earth. • May all be happy. • May the rains come at the proper time. • May the Earth produce grains. • Let the animals and people of wisdom be protected at all times. • May the people of contemplation have no cause for fear.• May the world be free from famine.

• Clothes, home, national boundary protection, etc• Mental

मनः एव मनषु्याणम ् बन्ध मोक्षस्य कारणम ् ।बन्धाय धवर्यसांगो मकु्त्य ैधनधव षर्यम ् मनः॥ - Amrita-bindu Upanishad 2• Remove doubts and confusions• Do not give false promises

• Emotional• Strive to maintain positive emotions, or• Become sthita-pragya (equipoised in all circumstances)

• Associate with saints, gurus, Aacharyaas, and scriptures• Saatvik foods help sharpen intelligence

• Knowledge• Strive to know relevant truths, especially spiritual truths

• Self (Ego)• Give up false ego• Do nothing that will cause you hate your own self• Be grateful for what God (or others) has given you• Love God, meditate on God, praise Him

Suffering Caused by Othersद्वौ भतूसगौ लोकेधिन ् दवै आसरु एव च। In this material world there always are two types of people: Divine and demoniac. – Gita 16.6

• Forcible or enticed Conversion • Enslaving or trading humans• Killing, eating and not protecting cows• Oppression, purposely hurting others’ feelings• Discrimination, robbing other’s freedom• Killings, falsely defaming or accusing others• Property destruction or illegal possessions• Social / national infrastructure destruction

How to Secure Protection• Security is ultimately each person’s responsibility

• Be prepared and trained to proact your self and family, and or

• Hire help to get security• Gov’t usually is responsible to provide security, but

may not be able to reach everywhere in time• Completely surrender to God

• Surrender does not happen instantly; requires very strong faith and intense love for God

About Vedic Dharma(The Universal Religion)

• Living per dharma is living sin-free• Four pillars of dharma

• Truth, compassion (or mercy), austerity, and cleanliness• असतो मा सत ् गमय॥ Vedic dharma give maximum emphasis on

knowing the truth, and finally knowing the absolute truth (which is an aspect of the Supreme god.)

• Vedic dharma is pro-life, and anti-demoniacs. • अधिांसा परमो िम षः । िम ष धिांसा तथवै च ॥

About Vedic Dharma• To not injure or kill is dharma, but to kill (or keep out of

country) the demoniacs or asuras is also dharma. --This is the reason why Krishna recommended Arjun to fight against Duryodhan and his army and kill them all including Bhishma and Drona whom Arjun loved very much. Why, because they took the side of adharma.

About Vedic Dharma• A Vedic Dharmi (i. e. a Hindu) can consider the supreme god as

a male or female. Actually, as Brahma, god is neither male or female, and still is capable to create (and destroy) innumerable universes.

• Unlike other religions that prescribe just one way to worship god or go to haven, the Vedic dharma provides a number of ways, which are different yoga processes.

• Ultimate destination of all these processes is the same just like you can travel from one city to another in many ways.

About Vedic Dharma• Vedic dharma tells followers to not force dharma on others, nor to entice non-Hindus into accepting Vedic dharma. Why, because dharma gives maximum freedom of thought, speech, and action (karma); and depending upon one’s karma, and by the perfect justice system of God, one advances spiritually towards God, or stays where one is, or falls spiritually.• Vedic dharma provides complete spiritual science, which is beyond material science. Knowing this spiritual science, e.g. from Bhagavad Gita, one can make a choice how to act or react in any situation. One's karma is what one acts or reacts or even thinks or desires; and karma determines what one will get in future in current or next life.

About Vedic Dharma• Unlike other religions, the Vedic dharma informs us that we are

not the body, but the jiva within the body. • A jiva is an aatmaa with a bundle of desires, and each aatmaa is

qualitatively same as the param-aatmaa (the supreme god). • Aatmaa is eternal, and that is why a jiva takes another body

after death when one body is not habitable for the jiva. But a jiva's next body is determined by God based on the jiva's karma.

• YouTube has many videos describing the experiences of those who somehow remember their past life(s).

cannot be said of other religions.• Vedic scriptures inform us that Arya or Aryan is not a

race at all. Anyone who strives to live per the Vedic dharma is an Aryan.

• Per the Vedic dharma God does not favor one race, or one skin color against another, and God love all living beings equally. Because God is Supreme, God is not jealous of anyone.
