How To Make Peanut Butter Cookies

~What You Will Need~• Measuring Spoons/Cups• Cookie Sheets• Mixing Spoons• Big Bowl• 1/2 cup peanut butter• 1/2 tsp baking soda • 1/2 cup sugar .• 1 egg • 1/2 cup unsalted butter • 1/2 tsp baking powder • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour• 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

~Steps To Making These Awesome Cookies~

~Step 1~• Use a wooden spoon or electric mixer to beat the

butter and peanut butter until combined, about 30 seconds.

~Step 2~• Add the sugars, baking soda and powder, and beat

until combined.

~Step 3~• Add the vanilla and the egg and beat until combined.

~Step 4~• Stir in the flour until incorporated. The dough will

become thick and difficult to work at this point; you may want to chill it for an hour or so until it's easier to work with.

~Step 5~• Heat oven to 350 degrees.

~Step 6~• Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them a few inches apart on

cookie sheets.

~Step 7~Butter the tines of a large fork and use it to press the cookies flat. Make

a design of perpendicular lines with the fork. Re-butter the fork as necessary. You can also dip the buttered fork into granulated sugar before pressing; some of the sugar will then stick to the cookies.

~Step 8~Bake for 10 minutes or until just starting to brown around the edges.

~Step 9~Take out to cool. Enjoy
