1. Go to http://www.twitter.com and sign in it will bring you to a page like this:

In the search bar that says

“search twitter” type in

“HT Life Teen”

or you can go to

http://www.twitter.com/ht_lifeteen

Click on the first result to show up

2. Now, set up Twitter to send text notifications to your phone.

• without signing out of your twitter account, go to https://twitter.com/devices and it

will bring you to this page

3. Fill out the information under the section “Activate Twitter Text Messaging” and then

click “activate phone” and it will bring you to a page that looks like this

Follow the instructions and text the word GO

to the number 40404 and you will receive a

text notification that your account has been

activated.

The Twitter web page will now look like this

Check all the boxes that determine what you want

to receive text notifications about.

ONLY THE FIRST BOX needs to be checked for

receiving updates from us.

Click “save changes” on the bottom.

4. LAST STEP - go back to http://www/twitter.com/ht_lifeteen

• click on the gear image next to the

box that says “Following”

• then click “turn on mobile notifications”

Congratulations!! you are now receiving text notifications

from our Twitter Account
