Be careful with scissors, ask for help from your parent/guardian. You will need: Large plastic bottle 5 bottle tops Newspapers Cellotape Googly eyes Cardboard (for ears) Pipe cleaner (for tail) Method • Cut bottle into 3 sections, discard the middle part then secure the remaining 2 sections together with cellotape. • Use cellotape to connect the 4 bottle tops as legs. • Dilute PVA glue with a little water and use it to stick newspaper strips onto the bottle. Wait for this to dry. • Paint the whole piggy bank with the white paint to cover the newspaper then decorate to your liking. • Use all purpose glue or glue gun to connect the pipe cleaner tail, eyes and ears (paint them as well). • Finish covering the piggy bank with clear glossy nail varnish. You can also trim the ears if they refuse to stay up. • Once the piggy bank is completely dry, carefully make a hole for coins with the cutter.
