Ready to make a Custom YouTube Thumbnail?

First, Take a screen shot of a frame you love, this saves the image on your desktop.

(Command Shift 4)

Open Photo EditorType http://pixlr.com into your browser. This is a free photo editing application. Click on Pixlr Advanced.

Upload a Photo

Select Open image from computer.

This will open a new window and have you located and select your file from your computer.

Create a Text BoxNow the image is in the editor

Select the A button, Then click on the image. A text box will appear.

Add your desired text, change the font size, style, or color if you wish from the options above. Then Click A button again to exit.

Take a screenshot of this new image.

Add your text

Log into your YouTube account, and go to Video Manager.

Upload to YouTube

In Video Manager, find the Upload that the created Thumbnail is for.

Click Edit.

Select

Select Custom Thumbnail

And Upload your image!

Remember to Save Changes when you are

done uploading.

Done!

You now have a custom Thumbnail for your video.
