How to Install Mitsar Drivers (Unsigned Driver) in Windows 8 (x64) Windows 8 by default will not let you install unsigned drivers. In order to install an unsigned driver, you can follow the steps shown below to start Windows 8 in "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" mode. Step 1. Move the cursor over the top or bottom right corner or the screen and it will show extra options on the right side of the screen (This is the new Charm Bar in Windows 8). Choose the Settings option (icon looks like a Gear).
Choose Change PC settings option

Choose General on the left hand side and then select Restart now button on the right
Select Troubleshoot

Select Advanced options
Select Startup Settings

Select the Restart button
The computer will restart and prompts another menu for you to choose from. Select option number 7) Disable driver signature enforcement. Your computer will now continue booting to Windows 8 with digital signature enforcement disabled. Press F7 to start reboot.
You are now ready for Step 2.

Step 2 After Windows restart run the driver FTDII installation: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm As soon as installation is finished go to Control Panel Device manager and following guide: Right click and choose update driver software
Choose Browse my computer for driver software

Select Let me pick from a list of drivers in my computer
Select Show All Devices

Wait for a while
Choose FTDI and it version and click next
All Steps have been completed and your Mitsar amplifier should now be installed.
