Click “New Live Event” in the upper right corner on the Events page.5

Enter your title, description, and the time & date for your event. 6

7 Choose “Private” with the privacy setting selector.

8 Share your Private HOA with the people, circles, and/or communities of your choice.

* Tip: Only share your event with yourself to use Hangouts for recording personal videos or screencasts for editing later.

9 Set your “Type” to “Quick” to use Hangouts On Air for your scheduled live event.

Click the “Create Event” button in the top right corner to schedule your live event. .10

11 Your Private HOA is now scheduled. Come back to your events page when your are ready to start your HOA.

* Double check your privacy icons to verify your privacy setting is correct.

* Double check that your event is set up as a Hangout On Air.

Public: Anyone can see your HOA, your invited guests can share it with anyone they’d like, and it can be found in the youtube search option.

Unlisted: Anyone can see your HOA and your invited guests can share it with anyone they’d like, however it can not be found by searching.

Private: The HOA can only be viewed by who you share it with and they can not share it with anyone. You are in complete control of privacy.
