Focus on your contacts and on meeting their needs. Everything you do on social media should reflect that: create/share content that is relevant to your contacts, say things that address their concerns, offer solutions to their problems.

Be active on a daily basis. Do not create social accounts and then let them go inactive. Your mere presence on social media is not enough to generate business. You have to be in touch. Connect with the people who viewed your profile or responded to your comments and posts.If you start posting and participating in groups, you will increase the chances that people view your profile and engage with you. When they do, send them an invitation to connect directly. Do not send them the default invitation of the network or app you are using. Personalize your message. For example, you could say:

2. Join and participate in network/platform groups.Within the network(s) you have chosen there are groups, formed around subjects. 4. Pay attention to people’s interests. Similarly to what you would do in person, pay attention to people’s interests, what they talk about online, what they share, like and follow. Mention that when you contact them. That will show them that you value them. For example:

5. Practice social listening “Social listening is the process of finding and contributing to conversations about you or your brand online by seeking out brand mentions, specific keywords or phrases and comments.”2

Search for possible conversations that might already be going on about Rena Ware. You can use keywords such as the company name, product names, etc. Join those conversations and contribute information that is accurate and on point: for example clarify any doubts or misinterpretation, answer questions, add relevant information.

Your goal is to have at least 10 conversations a day. Once you have connected with someone on a network, to approach him/her and obtain a phone number, still follow the script on side 1 of the Grand Drawing Card (RW54), as explained in the seminars. In addition, consider the following points:

Depending on the medium or network you are using, instead of writing the entire script, you could break the script into sentences and write one or two at a time. Always introduce yourself, your role and your purpose.

If your contacts do not respond to this message, you may want to try a second time. If you still get no answer, do not insist.

Do not try to get attention by communicating earnings or product prices. Try to get attention with photos and videos of products that are in line with your contacts’ interests.

Once you have your contacts’ interest, get their phone number to make an appointment for a presentation. See below.

Test the technology you are going to use, both hardware (computer, phone, etc.) and software (programs, apps) . Make sure you know how to manage things such as sound (microphone, volume, mute/unmute, etc) and video (full screen, minimize, etc.).

Decide the best way for participants to make comments and ask questions, for example in writing via chat or orally.
