HOW TO GET FROM PRAGUE TO PODEBRADY?

Take a look at http://jizdnirady.idnes.cz/vlaky/spojeni/. You will get several options but we would

strongly recommend you to take a fast train from PRAGUE RAILWAY STATION (Praha hl.n.) to the

PODĚBRADY RAILWAY STATION (Poděbrady). It takes approx. 1 hour and costs cca 80-90 CZK. The train

departures every day once in an hour (6:01, 7:11, 8:11, 9:11…) and there is the direct connection from

Vaclav Havel Airport Prague to Hlavní nádraží (see an information letter).

Choose the station of departure, which is Praha hl. n., and also an arrival station, which is Poděbrady.

Do not forget to tick a box called „Direct connections only“, choose the date and time of your

departure. Click „SEARCH“ button.

You can see the page with arrival times. Choose the train. The number of the platform can be found

approximately 20 minutes prior to your departure at the departure hall on the first or second floor.

You have to buy the train ticket at the railway station on the first floor in advance. Note that in case

you want to pay by card you are obliged to inform a cashier about it in advance. If you buy the ticket

in the train, you will pay more therefore we recommend to buy the ticket in advance.

Note: Exact information about where the train stops or arrival time to Poděbrady or other stations can

be found out by clicking on the number and name of the train.

HOW TO GET FROM THE PODĚBRADY RAILWAY STATION TO THE STUDY DEPARTMENT?

Get off the train at the Poděbrady Railway Station. You can see the map with the way from the railway

station (green target) to the study department (red target with white star inside). The study

department is situated in the first building on the right.

You can find the way from the railway station (green target) to the dormitory (red target). The study

department is situated approximately 10 minutes way from the dormitory (red target with white star

inside).
