HINTS & TIPS

HOW TO GET AN INTERNATIONAL JOB

Page 2: How To Get An International Job

Human Resources

• Your first and possibly only contact with any company is via Human Resources (HR).

• Most Human Resource (HR) offices are staffed by qualified skilled HR personnel who are not industry specific professionals and do not know much about it as their qualification is in “Human Resources”.

• Their knowledge about the actual industry in particular may be limited.

Make It Easy

• The most frustrating part of a recruiter’s day is poorly written, amateur resumes that lack information or make it hard to find the information they are looking for.

• Make it easy for “Human Resources” to see you as a skilled professional by presenting yourself as such.

• Half hearted attempts at securing employment do not cut it in today’s employment culture. With today’s technology submitting your resume has become extremely competitive.

• Use technology to your advantage not your disadvantage.Human Resources are looking to employ human beings not

specifications. Give them a reason to hire you!!!
