How to enroll iOS devices in SoMobile

Introduction This document provides a detailed step-by-step to enroll your Apple device in the SoMobile solution.

Prerequisites 1. You must have the mail sent by SoMobile that contains user information to use this service (user group and some instructions to enroll the device).

2. You will need the own Apple ID account of the user (using a common Apple ID will cause a lot of synchronization issues with iCloud and application

updates) in order to download the AirWatch application from the Apple AppStore, which is needed to enroll. If he doesn’t have one, please follow

this link and follow instructions to create one : https://appleid.apple.com/

3. The device must be connected to internet via a broadband network or a Wi-Fi network.

4. User must be member of dedicated SoMobile security group in ActiveDirectory in order to have access to corporate email synchronization.

5. If a corporate ActiveSync account is already configured on the device, it must be deleted before enrollment. It will be created by SoMobile.

Enrollment Steps Illustrations Instructions

On your iOS device, launch “App Store”.

Search for “Airwatch MDM agent”. Next tap on “Free” then “Install”. If the user already have an Apple ID, tap on “Use Existing Apple ID”. Else, select “Create New Apple ID”. Then enter user’s Apple ID. Tap on “Open” to launch AirWatch

Select “Server Details” and enter the Server URL and Group ID provided in the enrollment email, then tap on “Next”.

Enter user’s Active Directory credentials (Sodexo email address / password). Then click on “OK”. You are then prompted to save your password, tap on “Not Now”.

Select device ownership :

- Corporate Dedicated if device is provided by Sodexo

- Corporate Shared if it is user’s

personal device used for business

- Employee Owned if it is user’s personal device

Tap on “Next”

Accept the EULA by clicking on “Accept”. Wait few seconds for enrollment process to begin.

Tap on “Install” twice. If you have a passcode to lock your device, you’ll have to enter it.

Tap on “Install” then “Trust”.

Finally, tap on “Done”.

Your device is now enrolled. Tap on “Done”.

Tap on “OK” to allow the AirWatch agent to use push notifications. Tap on “Alllow” to allow the AirWatch agent to use location data.

Enrollment is now completed Icone appear on the home screen : “App Catalog” (access to recommended or provided applications) and “Self Service Portal” (webpage where you can manage your device).

If not already set, you will be prompted to set a security passcode to unlock your device. Tap on “Continue” then enter chosen passcode. You will be asked to enter it a second time to confirm it. Tap on “Save” to validate.

You will be prompted to enter user’s Exchange account password for Sodexo mailbox. If not, simply launch Mail app. Generally, this is user’s Windows password on his computer. Tap on “OK” Your emails are now synchronizing.
