once read an article by a seasoned servant of God, which said, that

“you don't find your purpose, you learn it” . By registering for this course,

that is exactly what you are doing. Your purpose is not out there

somewhere. According to Proverbs 20:5, your purpose is already inside of

you, you just have to learn how to pinpoint what it is.

The next few weeks, depending on how you commit yourself to this

course, is going to be one of most important seasons of your life. You are

about to discover the master-key to you living a successful and fulfilled

life.

God has not created you to do everything and anything, but something

specific and unique to just you, and wisdom demands that you take time

to locate what it is.

Proverbs 4:7

“Wisdom is the principal thing, there get wisdom and with all thy getting get

understanding.

I know that it is not easy to focus on just one thing , when there is so

much going on in your life, however this course does require that you

focus on the things that you are going to learn during the course, as God

is going to be speaking to and guiding you through His word. You can

only hear His voice when you are focused on Him and what He is doing

in your life at this moment.

Isaiah 30:21 “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in

it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

As you go through this course, you are going to experience the Holy

Spirit guiding you, inspiring you to re-organise the priorities in your life.

You will need to outline your strengths and your weakness, learn how to

focus on those things that are natural to you, and gradually let go of the

things that you are struggling with [which have nothing to do with God's

purpose for your life]

Some of you have probably discovered what your gifts and talents are,

but need clarity on how God has ordained for you to use them in relation

to your assignment. This course is designed to help you discover just that.

On this note I would like to officially welcome you to the class/study

group, and I am looking forward to working with you through the

duration of this course and after.

You are the first class for the year 2014, so I declare that you shall be the

head and not the tail, you shall be above and not beneath in Jesus name,

Amen.

COURSE DISCRIPTION

Our Courses" are designed to give you the understanding and

the spiritual tools that you need to unveil God's purpose for

your life and fulfil it.

We are very aware that people learn at difference paces than

others, and that is why our courses are on-line, and accessible to

you 24/7, which allows you to create your own time of study at

a pace that suits you.

Realistically we would prefer that students try and complete the

course within a 6 month period if possible - having taking into

consideration your busy schedules - but if you need more time

than that,, then its all right.

LECTURE #001 UNDERSTANDING DIVINE PURPOSE

very thing that God created, He created for

His own pleasure and not for the benefit of

that thing. Everything that God created

was for a reason, which was determined

only by Him.

Purpose is not a concept invented by man, but was

already in existed long before his own existence.

This concept precedes the creation of the whole of mankind itself. God,

who has created all things according to His divine plans, is the only one

that has the sovereign right to determine the purpose of anything.

No man can ever locate his purpose outside God, for purpose starts and

ends in Him. Millions of people today are living according to their own

plans and purposes, and that is why there is so much tragedy, premature

deaths, disappointments and frustration in the world.

As a believer you may not be able to do anything about how you have lived

your life in the past, but from this point on you can make a strong decision

to settle for nothing less than God’s plan and purpose for your life,

because that is where true success lies.

Sin disconnected mankind from God’s divine purpose, and only by being

reconciled back to God through Jesus Christ His Son, can we ever succeed

in discovering God’s intention for creating us. God cannot be involved

with you outside His purpose for your life.

Whenever purpose is not in place, chaos becomes the order of the day,

and that will explain why there is so much calamity in the world today.

God gets the blame for everything that naturally goes wrong on this

planet, when the root of the problem is that mankind itself has not aligned

itself with the divine purpose of God.

LECTURE #002 WHAT IS PURPOSE?

What Does the Bible say is the

purpose of our lives?

"Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My

glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made,"

(Isaiah 43:7).

According to the Bible, our purpose, the reason we are here, is for God's

glory. In other words, our purpose is to praise God, worship him, to

proclaim his greatness, and to accomplish his will. This is what glorifies

him. Therefore, in this we find that God has given us a reason for our

existence, a meaning for our existence. We were created by him,

according to his desire, and our lives are to be lived for him so that we

might accomplish what he has for us to do. When we trust the one who

has made us, who works all things after the counsel of his will (Ephesians

1:11), then we are able to live a life of purpose. How the particulars of that

purpose are expressed is up to the individual.

Life begins with Purpose. Until you discover what your purpose in life is,

you are merely existing and not living. Your destiny is tied to your

purpose, so greatness cannot be yours until you locate the task that God

has created you to undertake, or the problem that He created you to solve.

Purpose makes for colourful living. It is the key that unlocks the full

potentials of your gifts and talents. As long as you are living your own life,

you will be missing out of God’s best for your life. You are created to soar

high like the eagle, and not scat the ground like a chicken, which lives its

whole life walking the earth and eating from rubbish dumps.

Webster dictionary defines “purpose” as;

the reason why something is done or used : the aim or intention of something

the feeling of being determined to do or achieve something

the aim or goal of a person : what a person is trying to do, become, etc.

LECTURE #003 PURPOSE IS YOUR ASSIGNMENT

od’s purpose for your life is your life Assignment. You were sent

into this world with a mission. When you

become obedient to God’s task for your

life, supernatural manifestations become a

daily occurrence in your life.

We often fill our lives with tasks and schedules that

leave with no time to discover and do the one thing

that God created us to do – Purpose. God does not

reward you for everything you do, but for doing

what He created you to do.

Your God-given purpose is your life assignment. It is the mission that God

has placed in your hand., God is at work in this world, and He has called

you to be part of that work. Your purpose is a chance to work in

partnership with Him.

2 Corinthians 5:19

Amplified Bible (AMP)

“It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the

world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men]

their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message

of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).

Jesus Christ was exalted and given a name above every other name,

because He unveiled and finished His purposed. He was obedient to the

point of death, Therefore He was able to say, “IT IS FINISHED”

Philippians 2:10

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven,

and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue

should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

You are sent here to do a job, and that job is your task. There is nothing

else that you can do in life, that can give you the kind of fulfilment that

comes with your God-given purpose.

You were sent to affect lives supernaturally, to make a difference wherever

He sends you. It is your duty to run the race and finish it, this is your

assignment. You will not be a failure.

LECTURE #004 YOU ARE GOD’S UNIQUE PRODUCT

# You are not created to be a liability, but to be an

asset in God’s ultimate for mankind.

The Manufacturer and His Product

The maker of a thing or an object is known as, “The Manufacturer”,

while the thing that is being made is known as the “Product”

Psalms 95:6

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

The purpose of a product is determined by the Manufacturer and not product.

How a product functions or what needs it meets is all determined by the manufacturer before the product is even made.

This therefore means that the purpose of a product cannot be determined

by the product itself, because its purpose precedes its production.

Before a product came to be its purpose was already in existence, it was what prompted its maker to invest its time and resources to its creation.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

# You are an original and not a carbon copy.

Your Design

The design of any product is determined by its intended purpose. No one

product is designed the same.

You are wired by God to fulfil your purpose. There is no one else like you There is no one else with your same finger prints You are purpose unique and special

A Car consists of various parts that all work towards the purpose

E.g handbrake, clutch, gear box, accelerator, steering, engine, etc. Specific

functions but same purpose.

1 Peter 2:9

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a

peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath

called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

LECTURE #005 GOD’S CALLING UPON YOUR LIFE

very man and woman on this planet

today has a divine call upon his head.

whether they will hearken to this call is

another thing. As many go through life ignoring

this call all together.

Rom 8:29-30

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to

the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many

brethren.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them He also called: and whom

he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also

glorified.

2Tim 1:9

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to

our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given

us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

This calling is a 2-fold calling:

1. A call into a relationship with God

2. A call into His plan and purpose for your life.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that

whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Roman 8:28:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,

to them who are the called according to his purpose.

LECTURE ## 006 PURPOSE A CALL TO GREATNESS

like to start this session by saying that, “ God does not call anyone so that He can reduce them

Rather He calls them so that He can exalts them

So that He can take them from shame to Glory, and from rags to riches.

Philippians 2:5-11

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in

the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a

servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in

fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,

even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name

which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should

bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the

earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the

glory of God the Father.

Jesus knew this and that is why He said in John 17: 1-5

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said,

Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may

life to as many as thou hast given him.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and

Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

thou gavest me to do.

glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Your Greatness In Life Is tied To Your Purpose

The Call of Abraham

Gen 12:1-4

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: {And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

God called Abraham from a destructive past into a future of Greatness,

Job 8:7 : “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should

greatly increase.

LECTURE #007 THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PURPOSE

1. Purpose is Inherent

The purpose of every product is built into it

by the manufacturer.

Some people have already stumbled on to

their purpose and gifting, but are

channelling it to the wrong people and in

the wrong way, and it is why their lives is not yet making the kind of

impact that God intended them to make when He created them.

Each man and woman needs to figure out what it is that they were created

to do.

2. Purpose Is Individual

The individual nature of purpose can be seen in the various parts of a

product, For instance the components in a tv.

It component is unique in its function even though it may be towards a

common universal purpose.

No one has your finger print, no one talk, walks, or does things the exact

same way that you do them. Your purpose is specific and unique to you,

though we are all working to the same ultimate purpose of God.

3. Purpose Is Often Multiple

Just as purpose is specific to a particular individual or product, even so

purpose may be varied and numerous.

For Instance

The Sun...

Separates the night from the day

Provides light during the day

Provides photosynthesis for plants to make food

We use it to dry our washings

Use to mark seasons

Jesus....

To introduce God as Our Father

To seek and save the lost, and reconcile them to God

He came to heal the sick all that were oppressed of the devil

He came to show us how to live by the word of God

He came to die for our sins

4. Purpose Is Interdependent

Everything in life has a specific purpose that is linked to a greater purpose

1Timothy 2:4 : Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the

knowledge of the truth.

Your purpose though specific and unique is towards a greater purpose.

You can only truly say that you have fulfill your purpose when it is

pursued in the scope of the greater purpose. Your purpose is connected to

the purpose of others, and vice versa.

Your purpose cannot be fulfilled in isolation.

5. Purpose is Permanent

When a manufacturer determines the purpose of a product he doesn't

change it after a while.

Once a manufacture designs, produces and markets a product that fulfills

a certain purpose, he doesnt change that purpose because a customer

doesn’t like the way it works.

6. Purpose is Resilient

When a manufacturer sets the purpose for a product and develops a plan

to achieve that purpose, no amount of problems with the manufacturing

process will change the product’s purpose.

No matter the challenges or trials that you go through in life, will make

God change His mind about you. Your purpose in God will also remains

the same.

E.g The Israelites 40 days journey became a 40 year journey but God

never changed His mind of taking them to Canaan Land.

Purpose turns mistakes into miracles, and

disappointments into testimonies

LECTURE #008 IDENTIFYING YOUR-GOD GIVEN GIFT & TALENT

od does not give a man a task to do without given him the ability to get the job done.

Every man that is born into this world is endowed with, one natural ability or more.

Abilities, which set one person apart from the other.

Roman 11:29

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

You are too loaded to fail

Moses

Exodus 4:1-5

And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.

And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:

That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

Exodus 4:17

“And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.

Just as God placed a rod in the hand of Jesus He has endowed you with gifts and talents that will make yo a sign and a wonder to your generation.

When you your gifts and talents in the hand of God - in other words you allow Him to use them through you, it has a far greater effect and rippling effect.

E.g A seed has the God-given ability to reproduce itself.

Mat 25:14-30

For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods....

God is not expecting you to do more than the ability he has given you, neither is He expecting anything less that what he has created you to do.

To do nothing with you gifts is even worse - It is viewed by God as an act of disobedience

Your Potentials

Your gifts and talents are merely your potentials, which have to be develop in order for it to have the kind of impact that God intended when He loaded you with it.

2Timothy 1:6

1Ki 17:8-15

And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, (9) Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee......

You are a manager of the gifts God has given to you. They

may be great or small in your eyes, but they matter to God.

LECTURE #009 DEVELOPING YOUR GIFT AND TALENTS

2Timothy 1:6

“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

“to stir up” means to “develop”

In order to make man, God had to form man from the dust of the earth, and then He breadth in Him the breath of Life and man became a Living Being

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

God did not only plant purpose in the heart of man, He also installed in him the gifts and Talents that is required to make his purpose as natural as possible to him.

The distribution of gifts

Have you ever given someone a gift that they don’t care about or won’t

use? Have you ever wondered if that is how the Lord feels when we ignore

the talents He has given us?

The parable of the talents recorded in the New Testament teaches us that

the Lord expects us to discover, develop, and use our talents (see Matt.

25:14–29).

2Ki 4:1-7 [Read from Bible]

“Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

This woman never realized that God had a purpose for her life.

She did not know that she was gifted or had a talent.

She Commonized her gift

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.

LECTURE #011 THE POWER OF VISION

Proverbs 29: 18:

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he”.

You cannot talk about purpose without talking about vision, because, purpose gives birth to vision. God has a purpose for your life, and when it is revealed to you it becomes vision. WHAT IS VISION? Vision can be defined as, “having an insight or revelation of God’s plan and purpose for an individual or a nation”. When you have knowledge of God’s plan and purpose for your life, then you can say that you have a vision for your existence. In other words, Vision means: to have an understanding of your Creator’s intentions for creating you.

PURPOSE, VISION AND MINISTRY

Purpose is your assignment, while the knowledge of your assignment is called Vision, and the pursuit of your vision is called Ministry.

LECTURE #12 PURPOSE AND DIVINE TIMING

o every purpose in life there is a “Time

Tag” attached to it. Purpose is the

reason why time exists.

Ecclessiates 3:1

To every thing there is a season, and a time to

every purpose under the heaven: “There is a right time for ever

thing” (Living Bible)

In other words time is of no relevance outside purpose. Time is

meaningless without purpose.

God establishes a purpose and also sets a time for its beginning and its

fulfillment. i.e. Jesus said, “My time has not come” - John 2: 4; and “It is

finished” – John 19:30.

Jesus never gave up ht Ghost until He finished His assignment.

WHAT IS TIME?

Time can be defined as “a short interruption in eternity”. A period that is

allocated to you, to fulfill what you were sent here to do.

Time is always given for the completion of purpose. Whenever time is

used for things that do not work towards the given purpose, it is wasted

and the opportunity to reach perfection is delayed or lost.
