Chapter three is an interesting discussion of the different types of anesthesia-advantages and disadvantages.

The author explains very clearly the prevention and treatment of post-operative complications. She covers medical problems, nursing techniques, and fluid and electrolyte therapy.

This helpful and thorough book is pre- sented in outline form. This is of value, as the information needed is obtained quickly.
