1. Write Down Your Fears!• Writing down exactly which situations you fear and your thoughts

during those situations will help you figure out why you’re so afraid of them and how you should go about to cure social anxiety.

• It will also help you realize that your thoughts are often illogical! For even better results, you should write down a logical response to every illogical thought. For example, if you are afraid of being seen, you’ll often tell yourself; “They definitely laugh at me if I go out there! I won’t take that chance!”. In response, you can tell yourself the following; “Why would they laugh at me? I look completely normal! I don’t care about them anyway; why would I? I don’t even know them!” Basically, all you have to do is challenge your thoughts!

2. Social Immersion• Have you ever heard about language immersion? Social

immersion is basically the same thing, only instead of doing it to learn a language, you do it to learn to stop being afraid. Little by little, you have to “immerse” yourself in social situations.
