How To Create A PDF Ebook Using PowerPoint Step By Step

Step 1: Open up a blank PowerPoint presentation. Step 2: Get rid of the text boxes where it says "click to add title" and "click to add subtitle". (All you need to do for your text is type it out in a document, then copy it and paste it, after you click on the slide in your PowerPoint presentation. (That's the big slide on the right hand side, not the small slides on the left as shown in the image below).

Step 3: Click on the "design" tab as shown in the image below.

Step 4: Click on "Slide Orientation". Step 5: Click on "Portrait". Now your PowerPoint presentation page is setup the way it should be, as shown in the illustration below!

At this point you can add your text and your images to your ebook. You may want to start with an image at the top that represents what your ebook is about.

Step 6: Find or create an image. Step 7: "Right click" on the image if it's on your desktop. What you want to do is "copy" it.

Step 8: In your PowerPoint presentation "left click" on your PowerPoint page and "paste" your image, (I use the "control - V" buttons on my keyboard to "paste", to do this, as shown below. You can drag your image around once you paste it in PowerPoint to take up the full page, or a portion of the page, whichever you choose. The size of the image I used for the cover of my ebook happened to be 597 pixels wide and 958 pixels high! Step 9: Now you can begin adding content to your ebook. All you need to do is type it up in a document, then copy it and take it back, (and the same as with the image previously), "left click" anywhere on the second page of your PowerPoint presentation, and then use "control + v" to paste it. It's usually a good idea to start by adding the "legal stuff" to your ebook, as in your copyright and disclaimers like at the 1st of the PDF that I created for this tutorial / presentation.

To add a new page, just right click on the slide panel on the left and then click on either "new slide" or "duplicate slide" and then delete the content that was on the previous page to start from scratch, as in the image below:

The Finishing Touches

The more PDF's you make, the better and more professional you’ll get to be at it. This is a great method of list building and even making money online. Digging deeper and for a better example, one could create a free PDF on how to create a WordPress website. I would set up an autoresponder form and in exchange for people's contact information I could give them this PDF with no strings attached.

My follow up emails would let people know that I did happen to create a video tutorial series on how to create a WordPress website from scratch that I was selling. (This is just a scenario, right now my WordPress course is free too)! I'm just pointing out that once you learn how to create a PDF ebook using PowerPoint, there are many things that you could use this knowledge for to make money from home! At this point in time I have a few products that I'm almost ready to launch, although everything I've been doing since last March is free. For instance, membership to the 1st Page Traffic Systems website, which offers a free toolkit full of images and things that everyone that has a website needs to have. Or a YouTube channel for that much. My free toolkit has a free YouTube channel art download too, not to mention the free WordPress video tutorials that I mentioned above. For more information on the 1st Page Traffic website membership and the free toolkit, click here. I hope you’ve enjoyed this short tutorial on how to create a PDF ebook using PowerPoint.
