How to Configure the DCPS Hotspot Device Cómo configurar el dispositivo de las DCPS para activar una zona con cobertura inalámbrica (hotspot)

Step 1- Turn on the device by pressing the power button on the right side of the device. 1er Paso- Prenda el dispositivo presionando el botón de arranque en el lado derecho del dispositivo.

Step 2- At the Welcome Screen, use your finger to swipe up to continue to the next screen. 2do Paso- En la pantalla de bienvenida, use su dedo para deslizar hacia arriba y continuar a la siguiente pantalla.

Step 3- Click on the “Mobile HotSpot” icon. 3er Paso- Haga clic en el ícono "Mobile HotSpot".

Step 4- Use your finger to move the circle indicated by the arrow below to the right. This will turn the hotspot on. The text will change from Off to On. Please be patient, as it may take a few seconds to turn on. 4to Paso- Use su dedo para mover el círculo indicado por la flecha de abajo a la derecha. Esto activará el hotspot. El texto cambiará de Off a On (Desactivado a Activado). Tenga paciencia, ya que puede tardar unos segundos para prenderse.

Step 5- Click on Configure Mobile Hotspot to find the network password. You will later use this password to connect your computer to the internet. Use your finger to scroll down on the Configure Mobile Hotspot screen until you see the Password. 5to Paso- Haga clic en Configure Mobile Hotspot para encontrar la contraseña de la red. Step 6- You are now ready to use the device to connect to the internet on your computer. How to Connect to the Internet Using Your Hotspot Device Cómo conectarse al Internet usando su dispositivo Hotspot

Step 1- Click on the Wifi icon at the bottom right of the screen. Find the DCPS_DL option. Select the Connect Automatically box. Click on Connect. 1er Paso- Haga clic en el ícono Wifi abajo en la parte derecha de la pantalla. Encuentre la opción DCPS_DL. Seleccione el cuadro “Connect Automatically”. Haga clic en Connect.

Step 2- Enter the Network Security Key and click on Next. The Network Security Key is the network password that you found in Step 5 in the instruction set above. 2do Paso- Ingrese la clave de seguridad de la red (Network Security Key) y haga clic en Next. La clave de seguridad de la red es la contraseña de red que encontró en el 5to paso en las instrucciones establecidas anteriormente.

Step 3- Click on Yes. 3er Paso- Haga clic en Yes.

Step 4- Please wait until you see “Connected, secured”. If you are unsuccessful, repeat steps 1-3. 4to Paso- Espere hasta que vea " Connected, secured". Si no tiene éxito, repita pasos 1-3.

Step 5- Double Click on Google Chrome. This will open up the CLEVER home page for DCPS. Paso 5- Haga doble clic en Google Chrome. Esto abrirá la página de inicio de CLEVER de las DCPS.

Step 6- Log into CLEVER. For assistance with your CLEVER log-in information, send an email to DCPS.Clever@k12.dc.gov.
