1.Startwithasmalldollopofcraftpaint.Bowlisonly4”across.Youdon’tneedmuchpaint.

2.Addwater.

Paintingyourcanvas:

1.Usingthedisposablefoambrush,washawidthofcoloracrossyourcanvas.Itwon’tbesolidatfirst.

3.Canvasisfullycolorwashed.Notethatthecolorisnot100%even.Ilikethatversusasolidlypaintedsurface.Letitdrybeforeremovingtape.

2.Additionalbrushesofcolor.Takecarenottosaturatethecanvas.Youdon’twanttogetitreallywetbecauseyouwanttoretainthesizing.Sizingkeepsthecanvasstiff.

4.Canvasisnowdry.Igavethecanvasalightpresswithaniron(nosteam)usingapressingcloth.Readyforstretcherbars.
