People simply whiz through the pages racking up hits credits for their own offers. They don’t care about yours. If you manage to get 1 or 2 optins out of thousands of views you’re lucky. PPC and SEO? Forget it. Unless you’ve got very deep pockets you aren’t going to be able to compete. In the case of SEO, even if you understand it well enough to do the work yourself, the search engines’ algorithms are changing constantly and you have no way of knowing what the criteria are. What had your site on the first page of the SERP yesterday is likely to have it on page 100 today because the algorithms changed. What about all the new programs popping up, you ask? Those types of products are not intended to be around for long. They’re meant to generate quick income for the creator. They will typically last two to five months and then fizzle out. In the meantime, the creator of the product or program already has another ready to promote and the cycle continually repeats itself.

What you need is an income strategy based on leveraging the affiliate programs of products that are high quality and intended to around for the long term. In addition, you need to build a mailing list of your own that you can build a relationship with and market to at will. Lastly, you need the best possible advertising that you can get.
