1. Bond (a tie or connection)-I must create a bond with my clients so that they can depend on me
2. Bonus-anticipate client’s problem and sow into that area
· Unforgettable relationship builders-what can I do to make client’s experience with me unforgettable?
· Undertake-It is a serious undertaking when someone comes into my business and I offer my services. The way I treat them as a lawyer could change their views about lawyers negatively or positively.
· Underlying Core of My Business- to solve my client’s problems systematically
1. What problems does my business solve?
2. I must use word “SOLVE” in my marketing pieces—speak directly to the problem. Look for dissatisfied clients with the problems I can solve.
I am not in the business of convincing.
· Underestimate-never underestimate the power of consistency in marketing.
· Up-Closing is opening up long term relationships with clients
· Understand what my clients want:
1. Follow through on what I say I am going to do (try to WOW my clients)
2. To TRUST ME (If I cannot trust myself to eliminate the nonsense nothing will change) Is my client worried about me running late?
3. Add Value to their lives: do this by building belief and giving surprise bonus. I must create value that exceeds price
· Systems (the systems in my business build stability)
1. #1 System-Testimonials-This is the number one system I must have in place
2. #2 System-Develop an off-line mailing program (mail reports at least every 30 days)
· Sanity-to run a sane business I must have systems in place. The average business is struggling because of lack of systems.
· Instant Impression1. Dress for success, including my car2. Use name at least 4-7 times during
conversation3. Fresh breathe4. Listen to what is coming out of my
mouth5. Go the extra mile
6. Put myself in the client’s shoes7. Have a name tag it removes the
stress of them trying to remember your name
8. Study clients-add value
· Integrity-trustworthy. How do I build Integrity?
1. Shut up and actively listen to clients or prospects (Based upon what I heard you say this is what I can do for you)
2. Use client’s name3. Tell clients the truth · Included-what would client say is
included in my business
· Non- negotiable-what is without debate, not up for discussion in my business

· Survival Mode to Supernatural Mode-move from survival mode to supernatural mode. In survival mode we speak the problems to others who don’t know what to do. If in survival mode get serious and realistic, evaluate, and move to supernatural mode. In supernatural mode you follow-up long-term and in survival mode you go for one time sale because you are desperate
