Moses A. Ojute, 2013

Introduction Is it a curse to be to born into this world? Why is life full of struggle? What is the path to fulfillment, real success and healthy living? Why are there so many odd against a man God has equipped before hand to succeed in life?

Pardon me, I don't know the faith you subscribe to, but I see your purpose of being on this earth beyond that faith which you are in today.

How do I know this? Jesus was sent only to the lust sheep of the household of Israel, but the moment he stepped out on his life assignment, due to his bowel of compassion, he extended salvation to the Gentiles.

May be you want to ask me, why did he do that? The answer is very simple. Faith whispered to Jesus, "reach out only to my people - the lost sheep of the household of Israel". But love cautioned Jesus while on the assignment saying, "I am God almighty, I created the Israelites and the gentiles without sentiment, therefore I charge you, extend your ministry also to the Gentiles". The Bible says God is love (1Jn 4:8, 16).

It is the wisdom in this book that you need to add to your life, so you may not have to trouble yourself because of my faith or that of yours. Definitely, you know that I'm not from the moon, therefore as a counselor I must have a religion background, however, to

you and me what matters is what God has deposited in my life to affect your life for good and that of the generation to come. Now, I believe we can get going!

Why do you need to break into your destiny to enable you solve your life problems? The word break implies that you need force to be exerted somewhere before you can have a good grab of your destiny!

The Bible says in the book of Matt 11:12:

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Firstly, be it known to you that kingdom of heaven means the same thing as the kingdom of God. Now what is really meant by the kingdom of God? The two scriptures below will provide us the needed answer.

Luke 9:2

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

Acts 10:38

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

From the two scriptures above, you'll agree with me that the kingdom of God is all about doing good in your uniqueness to anyone you come across. According to the second scripture, Jesus occupied himself while on earth with the unique assignment of doing a kind of goodness called healing, to anyone that cares.

Now, let me straighten it up. When one does good in his uniqueness adding value to life in his catchment area, such a person is said to be on his path of destiny doing his divine assignment. It is knowing one's best - fit in life and being passionate about it.

Now, your destiny envelops your divine assignment. The devil knows that if he succeeds in holding a man's destiny captive, such person will not be able to do the work God created him to do. Here, such person's destiny is said to be suffering violence, meaning it is under consistent devilish attack.

Only a violent man can deliver his destiny and assignment from the wicked grip of the devil. Yes, it will take a lot of aggression for anyone out there to take full control of his destiny.

This aggression must be so fierce to enable the man of destiny to hold the devil captive and claim his destiny, and regain full control of his divine assignment.

So in your fight with the devil to have good grab of your destiny, there must be a break in. What does that me? You must penetrate into the territory of the devil before you possess your possession. Honestly speaking, in your mission to take hold of your destiny, whether you believe it or not you must exact spiritual or physical force along the line.

In Gen 38:27-30, Satan wanted to rob Pharaz of his destiny by holding him back in the womb when her mother was in labour. But Pharez fought tooth and nail and rejected being victim of stillbirth. What did Pharez do? Thanks for asking. While the midwife

and the devil lost their consciousness in fraction of a second, and before they could regain it, Pharez forced himself out of the womb into the world. In that amazement, the midwife described it as "broken forth".

Gen 38:27-30

And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? This breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez. And afterward came out his brother that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

Every problem, challenge or crisis you're facing in life is strategically introduced into your life by the devil to distract you from living your destiny and doing your divine assignment (Act 10:38b).

Now, take this! Your life problems are best solved through your destiny, but you need to break into your destiny first to enable you get those problems solved. And how can you get that done? You need special kind of force, often celestial. That force is known as wisdom! Yes, it will take heavenly wisdom for you to carefully unlock your destiny from the devil, which most times he has sublet to some agents, in the like of difficult persons and unpleasant situations.

Opening your eyes to the scenario of your calling and revealing the special wisdom you need to break into your destiny and get your problems solved, is what I'm oblige to teach you as you read this book.

Chapter 1: The Meaning of Destiny Destiny is the living out of God's purposes, within your life span. As a man of destiny, God designed you to fulfill your divine destiny through your Calling. Your calling will manifest in the form of the work you do, your occupation, business, vocation, profession, passion, mission or divine assignment.

Many erroneously define destiny as a lofty spiritual goal, which only a few are chosen to fulfill, the way you go about your daily life and the style of living you engage in, the direction in which your growth is unfolding either toward fulfillment and love or toward confusion and despair.

From scripture: Jer 1:5-12, we observe that your being a blessing to your generation can only be fulfilled through service to humanity which you must be busy doing by serving in the area of your assignment. Therefore, your assignment is your life mission or your predetermined work or tasks in life. It is indicated by your passions and unexplainable happenings, divine diversion and divine interventions in your life. Simply put, it is an assignment God has consecrated, ordained, predestined and designed you to accomplish.

It is the only avenue God authorizes you to serve your generation. God will not reward you when you operate outside your designed domain, that is, destiny domain. You don’t need any special qualification or better still, paper qualification to occupy your pre - designed place of destiny. All that God require first from you are your availability and commitment. Developing yourself along your path of destiny can follow suit. I'm going to ask you now: Are you available for your assignment or you still want to remain in the status quo?

I knew one man of God in some time past. He only attended primary school, which I wasn’t convinced he completed. I had the opportunity of listening to this man of God several times when he preached to his congregation. He preached eloquently, using vocabulary freely at will. We who were academic scholars could not puncture his speech for grammatical error.

I came to grip one day and feared God the more, when this great preacher could not write a ‘simple’ letter to his family member, and had to call a graduate in that ministry to help him write the informal letter.

Wake up! Stop discouraging yourself. Who said you are not qualified? You are the most qualified person for the task God sent you to fulfill in your generation. Only you can stop yourself, even the enemies of your father’s house cannot stop you, because they weren’t there when Jesus spoke to the spirit that birth your DNA.

The first journey God want you to go on earth is the journey of discovering who you are and your assignment. This bold step can then be backed up with casting your life vision, equipping, Mentoring, and funding. God on His own will supply you with power, authority and strength that you need to fulfill your destiny. Your creator is eager and willing to support you to enable you complete your destiny in the set time He has chosen for you – your life span.

What You Need To Know Let’s ponder on this scripture:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 8:28-30

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

For all things to work together for good in your life and for you to be really successful in life, there are two things you must do:

1. You must love God.

2. You must be at your place of assignment.

Verse 28 of this scripture also reveal that everything that has happened to you from birth is orchestrated by God to enable you fulfill your destiny.

To every man on earth, there is a foreknown and predestination. Concerning you in particular, there was a Foreknown before you were predestinated. There was a foreseen and a foreknown about you. The foreseen is the problem God saw in your generation and has created you beforehand and equipped you to solve. The foreknow means that God knew your make –up, He knows who He made you to be. He knows your ability. He indicated this in his communication with great men like Gideon, Jeremiah and Moses. To foreknow is to ordain or know beforehand. In clarity, the foreseen and the foreknow refer to the problem and the man destined to solve the problem respectively.

To Gideon, hear what God said:

Judg 6:12

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

To Jeremiah the Lord said:

Jer 1:5

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

And to Moses, when he complained of stammering:

Ex 4:10-12

And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

My beloveth, the most valuable son God has is Jesus Christ and God’s plan is that you should be like him. Jesus Christ lived a life of significance, fulfillment, and fruitfulness throughout His stay on earth.

In John’s account of Jesus’ miraculous feeding of five thousand men, John recorded that He was not confused about what to do, when they had only five barley loaves and two fishes to feed that ridiculous number. Phillip, Andrew and the rest of the disciples were confused and worried, but He was not. John said, “For he know what He would do”. Worry or anxiety is not of God.

John 6:5-6

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread that these may eat? And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

God’s desire is that you live a life of bliss - Life without lack; having power, possessions and money to the glory of God. The choice is then yours whether to live a life of rigorous discipleship like the one lived by Jesus Christ or a life of responsible consumption. Which one do you prefer? Or do you want to live a life of consuming all that you ever produced. I advice you, don’t live such life because, people who live only for what to consume end up being consumed in the process.

I’m also pleased to announce to you that the scripture we are considering in the book of Romans makes us to understand that God designed you to be great leader in your generation. When you locate your best-fit-in-life, your niche or divine place of assignment, you become a much sought after person like Jesus. Jesus started his meaningful life in the wilderness, in solitude. Later He led twelve. He graduated into leading seventy and then multitudes. So it is with men of destiny.

Rom 8:29

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Ladders To Real Success Now on your way to real success in life, there are four ladders you must climb, acknowledging God’s Power, Might and Spirit. These ladders are: Ladder of Predestination, Calling, Justification, and Glorification. At the completion of the third ladder; justification, you will just be prospering anyhow.

From today, I see you prospering unhindered in Jesus’ name.

Predestination The word predestination is translated “predestined” in scripture referenced below, and it is from the Greek word 'proorizo', which carries the meaning of “to determine beforehand,” “to ordain”, “to decide upon ahead of time.” So, predestination is God determining certain things to occur ahead of time. Now, what did God determine ahead of time?

Rom 8:29

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

God predetermined that certain individuals would be conformed to the likeness of His Son, be called, justified, and glorified. In particular, predestination concerns God’s decision to create and to govern Creation, and the extent to which God’s decision determines ahead of time what the destiny of groups and individuals will be. Before God creates, He decides to do it.

Paul refers to Jacob and Esau. Before they were even born, before they had done any good or evil, God decreed in advance that the elder would serve the younger: “Jacob have I loved; Esau have I hated.” The point there is that God had chosen certain benefits for one of those two before they were even born.

The real debate is, on what basis does God predestinate? We know that he predestines, but why does he predestine, and what is the basis for his choices? God knows in advance what people are going to do, what choices they are going to make, what activities they’re going to be involved in. As he looks through the corridor of time and knows what choices you will make, for example, he knows that you will hear the gospel. He knows whether you will say no or yes, then he chose you for salvation on the basis of this prior knowledge.

Rom 9:12-13

"The older will serve the younger." Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."

Now, let us look at two scriptures below:

Eph 1:5

Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

Eph 1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will…,

To every man God created there is a foreknown or predestination. He told prophet Jeremiah:

Jer 1:5

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

Before you were born I sanctified you;

I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

God also told Gideon that He knew the ability he has put in his DNA.

Judg 6:12

And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, "The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!"

Gideon showed inferiority complex when God was sending him to the war front because he was ignorant of himself. So many people are like that today. They are bothered by the grasshopper image of the book of Numbers chapter 13. Relying on evil report of incompetence.

Num 13:27-28

Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large.

If the inhabitant of Canaan were really powerful, how were they able to come to Moses with fruit of the land? Seed of discouragement. Little wonder God told Gideon, go in this mirth. I believe, God told David the same thing, though David did not tell Saul, when Saul wore David a complete war apron.

Judg 6:14-15

Then the LORD turned to him and said, "Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?" So he said to Him, "O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house."

I am sure Gideon didn’t believe God until God asked him to turn back thirty one thousand seven hundred people and defeated the Midianites with just 300. Small but mighty. In the war against the Midianites, out of thirty two thousand Israelites selected to go to the war fronts, God instructed that twenty two thousand that were fearful should go back home from the battlefront. Of the ten thousand men remaining God still instructed that nine thousand seven hundred should go back after an unusual test on drinking of water.

Beloveth, you need a big heart and total dependence on God in order to work with him in focus and complete what He has called you to do.

Judg 7:7 Then the LORD said to Gideon, "By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand.

Now, let's consider this scripture:

Jer 18:3-6

Then I went down to the potter's house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make... then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?" says the LORD. "Look, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!

The scripture above teaches that you must be broken, and fully in tune with the Holy Spirit. God shaped human beings to various make-ups according to the plan and purpose He wants them to accomplish on earth.

God revealed to Joseph how great he has predestined him to be at the age of 17 even when he has not attained the skills of managing dreams, in a household full of envy. God wants to teach us at all time, So He welcomes those who are broken enough to be taught and delights in them.

Gen 37:9

Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, "Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me."

Before our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ was born, God revealed his coming to the world through prophet Isaiah, and he made a complete description of him:

Isa 9:6-7

For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called

Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace

There will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,

To order it and establish it with judgment and justice.

It is relevant to say here too, that before you were born into this world, some privileged people or prophets knew beforehand of your coming. I am not talking of people like king Herod.

The book of Genesis reveals that after God created everything that would sustain life on earth, there was a let us before He took the decision to create man and brought him into existence. Meaning man did not evolve on his own as some evolution theories postulated.

Gen 1:26-27 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

God is a sovereign God. He does things the way He wants.

Eph 1:11-12

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will

Now that you know that there was a predestination concerning your life, you need to ask yourself: What did God speak in advance concerning my life before I was born? Ask yourself again: What am I here for? May be you also want to ask yourself: Apart from

Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, who else around me were present at my creation, who knows about my destiny, my make-up, or my purpose of existence?

What will I use to illustrate destiny again? Holy Spirit help me! Your destiny refers to your end- point or the summation of your living on earth and how you are able to affect your generation.

I remember those days, as student of chemistry in secondary school and in the university. In chemistry, an acid will react with a base to produce salt and water. In titration experiment, a certain quantity of acid stored in a burette is carefully and gradually introduced in bits into a known base, which has been poured earlier into a conical flask by means of a pipette. The student Chemist stops adding the acid to the base as soon as the mixture turns purple. Scientist calls this End - point. When this end-point is accurately determined, the student is elated so also the teacher will gladly award mark to the student.

In like manner, you must live your life mastering the artistry of combining mandatory precautions with your divine assignment in order to get at your end-point. This end-point is the inter-phase that makes you cross over as eligible candidate of heaven. I see you overcoming and attaining that fit in Jesus’ name.

I must state here again, that you must love God. Loving God whom you do not see, and His dear son, Jesus Christ implies that you show that love to someone else, ‘the little ones’ around you. Now, who are the little ones? I defined them in this context to be the biblical ‘neighbours’. The little ones are those in need, be it physical, spiritual or emotional needs. They need care. Jesus sees them as being helpless and orphans. They don’t have to be members of your congregation or Christians before you extend that love of Christ to them. Maybe the help you give in an instance, without grudge, is all that that unbeliever needs, as bait, to lead him to Christ. Sometimes when I say this, some wonderful men of God reject this Holy Spirit led teaching of mine! By religion the Good Samaritan was not as righteous as the Levite and the Priest. But I am persuaded that Jesus will give His verdict in my favour concerning this statement. God is no respecter of persons.

You must serve humanity in your designed area. God knew you before you were born and He has modeled you in line with Jesus Christ. God wants you to be leader in the work he has predetermined you to do, that is why you are the first born among many brethren, I repeat. Ask yourself, what do I give back to God through serving my generation? My beloved, can you remember the food you ate two weeks ago? No way. Hello, if you have given that same food to somebody in need, not only will he remember the food, he will also remember that person who did Christ for him. I charge you, learn to do Christ for people. For that person that gave food to the man in need, Yoruba beggars says he gave such alms to Christ, not they who beg for the alms! They are quoting scripture, Matthew chapter twenty-five.

Matt 25:40

And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.

“E ta Jesu lore” Means ‘give alms to Jesus. This is the message Yoruba beggars pass across to listeners as they go about begging for alms. May be you need to go to the western part of Nigeria to confirm this. What a great faith shown by those you may think you are more righteous than.

Chapter 2: Why Must You Discover Your Destiny? Why is it important that you discover your destiny? I believe your destiny is one of the most important things you should give attention to in life? I see every man as someone sent on an errand by God to fulfill a mission or task on earth, intended to benefit him on earth and heaven but with fatal consequences when he fails to discover and fulfill his purpose.

For you to have a fulfilling destiny, you must use your gifts and abilities in the area of your heart’s desire in a way that best expresses your personality and experiences.

When you discover your destiny and pursue God’s plan for your life:

The plan will never fail

Your life will be changed for the better

You will be fulfilled and achieve your maximum potential

You will capture true success

Beloved, It is important you discover your destiny because you have been created, called, gifted, authorized, commanded, and prepared by God for your divine assignment. Moreover, your generation needs your destiny, that's why you're here.

Benefits Of Discovering Your Destiny Discovering your divine destiny and serving along your path of destiny, by building your life around your make – up or shape will give you the following benefits:

Reduces Stress

It reduces your stress level because you will only do what you’re gifted to do. It helps you to build on your strengths. Maximizing what you’re good at and not worrying about the rest is a stress reducer.

Increases Success Knowing who you are enables you to position yourself for a successful, meaningful and fulfilling life lived out in the world, based on God given shape that He has planted in you. Your fruitfulness will be without limit. Success is not making a lot of money. You can be making a lot of money and not be successful. Success is knowing God’s will and being right in the center of it. Success is being what God meant you to be. It is figuring out who you are and then being it. It is about finding your niche and saying, “that’s me!” That is success. It saves you the pains of going through four or five different trial and error decisions before you could say, “oh, that’s what I’m good at!” In addition, true success is determined by what you weigh on God’s scale of fulfillment, satisfaction, fruitfulness and significance.

Deepens Satisfaction And Fulfilment

A satisfying life is when you’re doing what you’re shaped or designed to do, that is, what God made you to do. Freedom comes from doing what you are gifted to do. So you enjoy what God made you to do. It gives you accomplishment because you are in harmony with God’s plan.

Builds Self - Esteem Doing what you are made to do builds your self-esteem and self-confidence. There is no fidgeting when working. Most people don’t like themselves, one of the reasons, studies say over 70% of all the people in their jobs are in the wrong jobs. Genuine self-esteem is built on two biblical truths: The truth that you matter to God – Jesus Christ proved it. He died on the cross. He didn’t die for junk. He died for you. So Jesus Christ proved how much you matter to God by giving His life on the cross for a ransom to you. Secondly, you are shaped and designed by God for a purpose. He orchestrated your make up so as to bring glory to His name.

Places You On Life Of Significance Discovering your area of calling and serving along that path of destiny announces you on its own as leader to your generation. You become mysteriously popular. Sometimes, you suddenly become a household name, even in the whole world. The life of living for others is a mandate from God. The destiny and the uniqueness of the work Jesus Christ did on earth announced Him. When you work in your area of calling, even your enemies or those of other faiths will put your song in their mouth. The Bible says when a man’s way pleases the Lord; He makes his enemies to be at peace with him.

Prov 16:7

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

That reminds me of the comment people usually make about the late Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the popular June 12 election in Nigeria. They said, “He was a man that could only be hated when he wasn’t around those who disliked him, but that, whenever people who disliked him saw him, they usually had an inner drive and loved him unconditionally. That is, he had an air of respect around him, possibly placed in him by God. But I believed he was being loved because his philanthropic act spread across religions. It was the unparallel display of the gift of compassion by Jesus Christ that announced His earthly ministry. There were seven results of compassion showed by Jesus Christ. His compassion led to Feeding, Healing, Deliverance, intercession, Helping the wounded neighbours, teaching, and Forgiveness.

So, you see, Compassion is the phenomenon – that is, that which make things happen. I remembered when a coach described Kanu Nwankwo, a Nigerian footballer, as the phenomenon in his club, because he wasn’t selfish, he laid several deadly passes that enabled his team mates to score, and his team won several matches with such display of humility. That has kept him playing several years even after almost all his contemporaries have laced off their boot.

Wake up! Shift from being a local Christian and become a global Christian. The world needs you. Let the array of unbelievers take we Christians serious, by pouring the love of Christ upon them. We must stop being religious. Before and after the advent of Christ on

earth, Praying, Fasting and giving of alms have been more of religion or hypocrisy than in faithfulness to the true God. Let us avoid saying you are of Paul, or you’re of Apollo.

The Occupy Till I Come Scenario I see every man walking on the surface of the earth as mere Traveller. God wants you to be a triumphant traveler. You are only occupying this earth till Jesus second coming. You have to remind yourself daily that your stay on earth is temporal and continually check yourself and align yourself with your maker. Luke 19:12-13 and Matt 25:14-19 will give us some clue:

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

Luke 19:12-13

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Matt 25:14-19 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

My friend, there is a position that belongs to God, which He gave to you and wants you to occupy till He comes. That position is your place of divine assignment, your niche, your best-fit-in-life, or perfect match - your destiny, which He wants you to fulfill and give stewardship at a later date.

What Is Meant By Kingdom Of God? In verse 14, Jesus likened the kingdom of heaven to a man traveling into a far country who called his servants and gave them goods to trade with. Let me explain what the kingdom of God in this context means. The kingdom of God is all about doing good to anyone that God put in your way. That was why the man gave them those resources to trade for him and return the gains to him. Now let’s read the two scriptures below:

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Luke 9:1-2

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

In Act 10:38, Peter said to the Cornelius family, that Jesus received power and went about doing good. What good was Jesus doing? Peter explained it: He was healing those that were oppressed of the devil. And why was He able to do that? Because God was with him. In summary, Luke 9:1-2 also says that Jesus gave power to his disciples to heal people and to preach the kingdom of God. Now the phrase ‘kingdom of God’ and ‘doing good’ can be perfectly substituted. Since kingdom of God means the same thing as kingdom of heaven, then, this implies that God sent you and I into this word to bring the kingdom of God to anyone we come across. How can we do this? We do this by relating with people through our talents, given to us by God. When you fail to use the ability, talents and gifts God gave you to serve people, God will not be happy with you, instead He would be regretting why He ever created you.

God designed your make up and gave you exactly what you need to fulfill your divine assignment just like the way the man in the scripture we are considering did to his servants. God will not accept your excuse for failure to discover your destiny and fulfil your destiny, rather will He allow you to behold His glory. He will do exactly what the man did to the servant that refused to use his talent.

Matthew 25:30

And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

When you fulfill your destiny on earth God will ask you to come and share in His happiness in heaven - A city whose street is decorated with pure gold. (Rev 21:21)

Matthew 25:21

His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!

The servant who refused to trade with his talent, preferred to tell lies to defend himself than face reality. The servant said that his master was a hard man, harvesting where he did not sow and gathering where he did not scatter seed. The statement is false because. Firstly, if the master were truly a hard man he wouldn’t have given any of them any resources. So the master was a good man. Secondly, every investor want profit, and the profit is expected from the resources loaned out. Ignorance of the law is never an excuse. This is confirmed in the scripture below:

Matthew 25:24-27

Then the man who had received the one talent came. 'Master,' he said, 'I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.' "His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

The Final Judgment

Furthermore, I felt led to acquaint you more about the grievous consequence of missing your destiny. Great! Psalm 145 verses 8 and 9 expresses the characters of God, but when Christ shall sit on the judgment seat, he shall pass judgment without mercy.

James 2:13

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

In the book of James chapter two, Apostle James was speaking to the matured Christians. He said, faith alone would not make Christians to enter heaven because even demons have faith in God. Demons believe in God and tremble too. James pointed out that true faith or what I call genuine faith is what will make you enter heaven. Genuine faith is faith combine with your works or deeds on earth. That is what God will reckon with.

James 2:19

You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble!

James 2:18

But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

You as believer, you want to make heaven? Then you must show your faith by your works.

Your works or deeds are what accrues in your heavenly account. These deeds are the love you show to God through serving and giving. They are produced when you affect the life of people through your unique make-up or shape within your life span. Christ will judge you by your deeds or works in his second coming.

Christ will tell you that he spoke your painful experiences into your spirit before you were born so that you should use them to bring those experiencing same out of their hurts.

Jesus Christ rolled out His Final Judgment model in Matthew chapter 25 and He based it on work or deeds.

Matt 25:31-40

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

This is the only way God confirms your love for Him: serving and giving to your neighbours, affecting your generation through your life purpose. What do you have heart for? In what areas do you have burning desire to help your generation? That is an indication of your niche. If money is no hindrance, what would you like to contribute to humanity or what problem would you like to solve for others?

1 John 3:17

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Chapter 3: How To Break Into Your Destiny Per adventure, having gone this far, you’re asking yourself: How can I break into my calling? Holy Spirit knows all things. He was there when God spoke first concerning your destiny. God knows how to pass the message across at His chosen time. I believe that is why He gave you the privilege of reading this timely book. God says your period of mourning is over in Jesus’ name.

Elijah was once in your situation, he sweated profusely before he found God. What helped him was being focused and sensitive to the spirit of God. Let’s read about him:

And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:

And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

Kings 19:11-13

And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

Until Elijah waited long enough for what you might consider an insignificant event- the still small voice- to arouse, God did not communicate with him. Here you also need patience as you aspire to discover your calling. Thank you Holy Spirit.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

John 14:26

You must partner with the Holy Spirit. He is the only one on earth that can reveal all about your calling to you. Further more you can search the Word- the Holy Bible for prophecies about your being.

Please go with me as I lead you into this prayer:

Prayer: Father Lord, I thank you for counting me worthy to be sent to my generation to carry out the unique assignment orchestrated by you. Spirit of the living God, Holy Spirit, my comforter, reveal to me now, every detail concerning my destiny, thank you Holy Spirit, Thank you abba father, in Jesus’ name (Amen)

Rom 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Beloved, you have calling which is according to God’s purpose. To every individual, there is predestination and a calling in Christ Jesus. Until you discover your calling, there will be no rest for your soul. What do I mean? The word rest here means, a state of satisfaction, peace, fulfillment and fruitfulness.

1 Peter 2:9-10

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

God called you specially to be a leader in your generation with a specific task. Until a person knows his calling, he will be in darkness. When you know your calling, then you are children of light assigned to give life to others in the area of your niche. You are no longer in state of confusion. Until you know your calling or your divine assignment and receive vision, life will not make meaning to you. There is a specific purpose for which you are created. Live it. Calling is your personal vision, which has to do with God and not your earthly gain. Well a Yoruba adage says: “one eats from where he works”. Yes, through the grace of God, your ministry is expected to take care of you, but that should not be your prime aim of casting vision, otherwise the vision is not of God.

Christ said for this cause came I into the world:

John 18:37

Jesus answered; Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.

God called you for an assignment to fulfill on earth, serve Him faithfully. I see God helping you to fulfill it, in Jesus’ name.

1 Thess 5:24

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

The Drama Of Calling At a point in the life of a person, God usually show up to place such individual on his path of destiny. Most times, this has to do with obedience and high sensitivity to the things of God. When God knows that you yield to Him when he gives you signal at the appropriate time, then He will remind you of what your destiny is. He did it to many biblical heroes. In Yoruba, an ethnic group in the western part of Nigeria, there is an adage that says: “thousands of Samuel cannot run away from God”. This wise saying means that when you stay sensitive to the spirit of God, at a point in time, God will conscript you into your calling, and you will not be able to dodge from Him.

Let us study the scripture once more to know how God drafted some notable men into their calling.

The Call Of Samuel Let’s go through this scripture:

1 Sam 3:1-9

Then the boy Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation. And it came to pass at that time, while Eli was lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow so dim that he could not see, and before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the LORD where the ark of God was, and while Samuel was lying down, that the LORD called Samuel. And he answered, "Here I am!" So he ran to Eli and said, "Here I am, for you called me." And he said, "I did not call; lie down again." And he went and lay down. And the LORD called yet again, "Samuel!"

So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you called me." And he answered, "I did not call, my son; lie down again." (Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, nor was the word of the LORD yet revealed to him.) And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. Then he arose and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you did call me." Then Eli perceived that the LORD had called the boy. Therefore Eli said to Samuel, "Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, 'Speak, LORD, for Your servant hears.' " So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

Samuel was serving under Eli when God called him and reinstated his calling as a prophet. God would have sent men to Samuel but he found no vessel competent enough to use, hence the Bible says, “And the word of the Lord was rare in those days: there was no widespread revelation.” This still holds till now. Little wonder the Bible says we know in part and we prophesy in part. This is a danger signal to those who live on, and depend on personal or minor prophecy, instead of the major prophecy, which is the word of God. So God came down himself as he did to Moses, to give Samuel his earthly ministry, but Samuel had a problem at the early part of the encounter. He didn’t recognize the voice of God; he thought it was his master who was under the same roof with him that was calling him in that hour of the night. So Holy Recognition is important. The scripture also point out that there must be light in your life for God to show up. What does that mean? There must be something around you or a kind of glorifying service you are rendering in that time of divine visitation, which will attract God. Now here this,

1 Sam 3:2-4

The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was. Then the LORD called Samuel.

Remember, God told us about the practice and character of Cornelius - a Gentile, that made Him to extend his hand of fellowship onto him, despite being uncircumcised. Sometimes, God being a sovereign God gives the children meat to the dog. Now because Samuel did not yet know the LORD, nor was the word of the LORD yet revealed to him, he could not discern God’s voice. God held His peace and refused to communicate his calling to him until the more experienced Eli knew that it was God’s calling upon his life, and led him to God by telling him what to do and say in order to receive God’s divine message. Until you show to God that you have a receptive heart as demonstrated by Samuel, God will not hand over to you your divine assignment. He wants to be sure that you can handle your assignment before He diverts you to it.

Samuel spoke in this manner: 'Speak, Lord, for your servant hears.'

1 Sam 3:19-20

So Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the LORD.

God rolled out the details of Samuel divine assignment unto him, and he began to train himself for the work. The purpose of training in your life is to ensure that you don’t be a total failure as you journey through life. Failure is not a predicament but failure to learn from failure is. So, God was with him and his fame went abroad as a true man of God with ‘undiluted’ prophetic calling.

Since my years of commitment to full ministry, I’ve found out that God doesn’t call any one that is redundant to the third degree. That is an engineering language. I mean, God doesn’t call an idle person into his predetermined assignment. You need an initial energy, like a Refrigerator’s compressor, to start up your calling. This is what Physicists called Potential Energy. I believe God behave this way so that when he brings the person to his designed garden, such energy he has been using in the wrong place of assignment will propel him to operate at full capacity. The credentials of Paul before conversion and his achievement after his conversion corroborate this assertion. Scripture says Paul persecuted the Christians with all fanatical zeal. He applied this zeal to his Christian life and did exploits.

Hello, Paul invested all the energy he has been using to persecute Christians, to win souls unto the Kingdom. His unparalleled record speaks for him in this regard. What are you good at or notorious for; there is always an avenue to use it to the glory of God. Don’t waste it. What is your instrument of ministry? Is it your mouth, leg, hands or your legs? Are you a talkative, then, you will make a good teacher, motivational speaker, or preacher. If leg, may be you ought to be a dancer or footballer. Then go ahead and locate where you belong in the entertainment industry. Start ministering in this direction, as soon as you become significant, money will follow your ministry.

The Call Of Moses At this moment, let us consider how Moses was called to go back to the land that wanted to consume him, and deliver a people of God, known as the Israelites. Moses was in the domestic capacity or assignment of keeping the flock of his father-in-law. Let me make this clear once more, God is very eager to use anyone that serves him by serving others in numerous ways. Through helping seven daughters of Jethro to felt water from a well, God gave Moses the wife of his destiny – A woman who did not only support him in ministry, but who also spared his life when the wrath of God was to kill him for his refusal to circumcise his first son before getting to the land of Egypt.

Ex 3:1-9

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn." So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am." Then He said, "Do not

draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground." Moreover He said, "I am the God of your father - the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God. And the LORD said: "I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

Tell somebody, God needs your attention, give Him now. He may use an event to draw your attention. This could be by calling you or giving you an attractive scene to behold. Until you show keen interest and compliance, He will not call you to your life purpose.

Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn. So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."

As soon as Moses used his body, soul and spirit to watch the burning bush, and God saw his state of lucidity, willingness and submissiveness, God began to unfold His plans for his destiny. God began by showing him the problem he was created to solve. Ask yourself: Has God shown me the problem I am created to solve?

Ex 3:9-10

Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."

You that is reading this book, there is a problem in your generation God has specially packaged you to reach out to. It doesn’t matter how dreadful the task is, and your option of running away from the task. If you will listen to God and hearken to his instructions you will fulfill your destiny like David as described by Apostle Paul:

Acts 13:36

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers

For somebody to have served his generation by the will of God means that such a person fulfilled his destiny within his life span. To fall asleep and sleep with one’s father means to die at ripe age and be accepted by God into eternal life.

God told Moses, I know you committed manslaughter in the land of Egypt and went on ‘self exile, ’ however, you are the person I have chosen for this simple task of delivering this people who I made covenant with their fathers. Many people are like the biblical heroes whom God used to fulfill his part of destiny. Moses complained of stammering, to his maker.

Ex 4:10-14

Then Moses said to the LORD, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue." So the LORD said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say." But he said, "O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send." So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses

Moses was trying to limit God who has prepared for him a place of full leadership. Any attempt for you to limit God, you will end up limiting yourself. God came out plainly to him that He will perfect his speech but he was full of doubt. God then gave him Aaron to assist him. Aaron was more spiritually weak compared to Moses, his master. He contributed to Moses impediment to reaching the promise land.

Here what the bible says, “So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses” God subsided his anger because heaven has predestined him for the task. Also, God has made up his mind to use Moses for the task regardless of his inferiority complex and lack of self-esteem.

Moses ought not to have complained about his defect - stammering, when God choose you for His assignment He will perfect your physical state for the assignment. The great Benny Hinn was a stammerer, but the impediment bowed to the power of the Holy Spirit.

This is an important fact about calling. Share your vision with only people God led you to share it with, so as to avoid sudden death of the vision. Moses did not tell anybody about his divine assignment until he met Aaron in the wilderness. He refused to tell Jethro about his encounter with God. He just told Jethro casually that he would like to return to his brethren who were in Egypt to know their well being.

Ex 4:18

So Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, "Please let me go and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive." And Jethro said to Moses, "Go in peace."

The time God will make known to you your divine assignment may be different from the time of commencement of your assignment. The difference between these two timing is known as your preparation time or waiting time.

Ex 4:18-20

And the LORD said to Moses in Midian, "Go, return to Egypt; for all the men are dead who sought your life." Then Moses took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

God had to wait for all those who sought the life of Moses to die before he asked him to go to Egypt. Moses had to keep God’s vision to himself because of dream killers. His father in-law would have prevented him from going to Pharaoh. He would have done this by threatening to hold back his daughter. When God calls you he also gives you a rod – the rod of authority to pursue, overtake and recover all. God knows your end from the beginning and he will equip you to fulfill your destiny as long as you fear him. To fear

God means to honour God, to humble yourself, and live in holiness, faithfulness and righteousness.

Matt 10:1

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out.

Whom do you run your vision with? God chose Aaron as vision runner for Moses. When you meet your vision runner you share your Godly vision with him, and together you will accomplish God task. To every Elijah there is an Elisha.

Ex 4:27-28

And the LORD said to Aaron, "Go into the wilderness to meet Moses." So he went and met him on the mountain of God, and kissed him. So Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him.

Before you start your calling, after receiving your assignment from God, you must sanctify yourself to enable God preserve you and your family and for His presence to go with you. Yes, you must be circumcised. Moses nearly died for failure to put his house in order for God use. As a man of covenant and descendant of Abraham, he was expected to circumcise his sons but he refused. It took his wife timely intervention to spare his life by performing the circumcision in his place and touching his foot with the foreskin. Moses would have died a miserable death and miss his destiny.

Ex 4:24-26

And it came to pass on the way, …that the LORD met him and sought to kill him. Then Zipporah took a sharp stone and cut off the foreskin of her son and cast it at Moses' feet, and said, "Surely you are a husband of blood to me!" So He let him go. Then she said, "You are a husband of blood!" because of the circumcision.

The Call Of Nehemiah There is a man who said a man of God once told him that if God doesn’t call you, you can call yourself. Nehemiah sensed God’s calling upon his life. He yielded and responded voluntarily to fight against injustice and oppression. Better still, Jeremiah sensed a need and filled it. He consulted God when he discovered that his stay in the palace has expired. He came to the knowing that his divine calling was to alleviate the suffering of the people of Judah and build the wall of Jerusalem. He forsook everything and went on the mission with faithfulness, fasting and prayer, and he had incredible success. Of course he completed the building of the wall earlier than schedule.

Neh 1:2-4

That Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. And they said to me, "The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire." So it was, when I heard these words that, I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

Nehemiah was a man of compassion. He has a heart of compassion.

1 John 3:17

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Nehemiah showed love and lived love. The major evidences of being on your path of destiny are living a life of serving and giving. He lived a life of self –denial, stood before the king with a bad countenance and made - his request known. If God has not strengthened him through his prayer and fasting, and gone before him to the king, may be the king would have commanded him to be killed for daring to be sad before him. While he was building the wall, he faced opposition but he was not discouraged.

The Call Of David The man after God’s heart, David is the next merciful king I can think of in a jiffy apart from our Lord Jesus Christ. God sent Samuel to anoint him:

1 Sam 16:1

Now the LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons."

The calling of God in the life of David has tragic connotation. Record shows that a new king is only appointed after the demise of a ruling king. But here was the little David at the time in question, set to be appointed king when his predecessor was still on the throne. This demanded a lot of caution, wisdom and secrecy to avoid casualties. God told Samuel to go and anoint one of the sons of Jesse to succeed king Saul.

David was least among his brothers and he was on errand keeping his father’s sheep in the bush. To the dismay of Jesse, the father of eight, God chose David – the youngest as king. I think this happened to me too, when four of my fathers children did common entrance into a secondary school, and myself being the youngest, among them all, was the only one admitted in that school. You can imagine the kind of seed of discord the choice of David over his brothers must have produced.

Samuel went ahead and anointed David. Look at this now, David never thought he would one day become king over Israel, but God knew him more than he knew himself. God had his resume or curriculum vitae with Him. He foreknew that he would kill Goliath too. He knew David fought a bear and a lion and killed them in the past. David valued his sheep more than he valued his own life. He was a man that lived a borrowed life long before he became king. Somebody is said to be living a borrowed life when what kill others with ease attack him but God spares his life because of his future assignment.

Even me, I’m living a borrowed life. David lived for others. He fought Goliath at the expense of his life and mockery by his own blood brother. In the choice of David as king, God showed that he doesn’t operate by age or by size but that he looks at the heart of individuals to know if such persons can excellently conformed to the likeness of his dear son. The innumerable attributes of David built around compassion corroborate the choice of his lineage for Jesus earthly visit.

1 Sam 16:6-13

So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, "Surely the LORD's anointed is before Him." But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." So Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, "Neither has the LORD chosen this one.” … Shammah pass by. And he said, "Neither has the LORD chosen this one." Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, "The LORD has not chosen these." And Samuel said to Jesse, "Are all the young men here?" Then he said, "There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep." And Samuel said to Jesse, "Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here." So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!" Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

David didn’t let being anointed king go over his head. He went back to the field and later worked in the palace-playing harp for king Saul.

1 Sam 16:21

So David came to Saul and stood before him. And he loved him greatly, and he became his armor bearer.

The Call Of Joseph A brief account of Joseph calling navigates through the processes of family rejection, slavery, and prisoner of conscience. He trusted in God and was focused; at the appointed time his gift thrusted him into the palace. The fear of God, holiness, and gift of compassion, and interpretation of dreams did it for Joseph. You need to covet these attributes too. A leader without compassion has no business being a leader.

Chapter 4: How To Solve Your Problems Through Your Destiny Beautiful! I'm glad that you have known how important your destiny is to God - your Creator and you in person. I'm sure, if you're not divinely conscripted into your divine assignment yet, God is waiting for you to dance to your destiny music artistically in such a way that with His profound compassion He would deem it fit and launch you into your divine assignment.

The Prime mover of Your Problems To get your life problems solved, you must know that what pours gasoline regularly on your problems is the fact that you have not located where you belong and give it all you've got - idle mind and heart.

What I'm I saying, speaking with respect to destiny, no matter how deceived you are, busy doing what the world order gave you to do - job, in the eyes of God, you're redundant to the third degree. What I'm saying is that you're an idle person. Interestingly, an idle person is ready to respond to any distraction the devil and his angels brings along his path.

A man that is very deep asleep will not respond to mosquito bite. The only thing that can occupy any man positively and ward-off problems stimulus of this world, is an engrossment in his divine assignment. Why?

The man of destiny, whom I said is dead to problems, has come to the understanding that he has a destiny and an assignment to fulfill within his life span. Painfully to him, he realized that every day, he could only achieve little out of what God designed him to accomplish per day.

Not only that, having discovered his destiny and divine assignment, he has his unique life vision and goals. He knows his destiny function and destiny forms. He knows the work he would be sought for, he no longer search for jobs. He understands his niche and focuses on meeting the need of those God sent him into the world to add value to.

His destiny makes him a master planner, organizer, managing resources and directing personnel in his own unique Garden of Eden. Come to think of it, his destiny forms, which are usually the various businesses God created him to run in life, are hardly less than four. Each of these businesses is a separate entity, needing attention but most time; he could only develop one or two at a time and run.

The man of destiny has a clear mental picture of what God created him to do and good understanding of the strategies required to execute them. To be more precise, the man of destiny is so obsessed with doing good in his unique area of calling, with a lot of meditation going on in his head that his problems if he ever recognizes them, are no longer his but God's.

The man of destiny has the ability to glory in any problem the devil brings in his way. The devil sees it as problem, but the man of destiny views the purported problems in eyes of God and discerns where God is. What do I mean by that?

Have you not heard, that in every problem that befalls a man, God wants His work to be made manifest through it. In otherwise, God wants men to see His glory through it. (Jn 9:3, Jn 11:40).

Problems Solved! Basically, problems varies, ranging from that associated with the challenges of meeting physiological needs, social and safety needs, self-actualization and self-esteem needs. Others, better defined, could be marital, relational, employment, business, and religion, academic, physical, spiritual or emotional problems.

The earlier a man sees any problem from the pit of hell as False Expression Appearing Real in his life, the better for him. Failure is not failure but stepping-stone to uncommon breakthroughs.

The reason why people's lives are surrounded by that ugly thing called problem is the gross inability of viewing the visiting problem with the eyes of destiny. You must develop your spiritual eyes to become your destiny eyes. At such level, when any problem surfaces in your life, you'll begin to thank God that He's set to announce himself through you again in another heavenly dimension.

God's Word cannot be broken:

1 Cor 10:13

God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape

Shifting Attention From Problems To Real Thing God will never failed you or deny you your destiny. There is only one contract you have and signed with God through Christ, that contract is that of you fulfilling your destiny within your life span. Why God is ever interested in your case whenever the devil engage you in a fight is because of your destiny. He guides it jealously and wants you to fulfill it.
