THE BASIC FOUNDATIONof financial prosperityis "FAITH IN GOD"

Let us set our hearts on taking God at His Word, that is, doing just exactly as God's Word says. We must follow His instructions to the letter. Here are the steps to financial prosperity - God's way

STEP #1: ______ GOD FOR A JOB

GUIDE LINES regarding the work that we do#1 P___ and ask God to give you a job or a better job.

#2 Go and _______ for a job now.

#3 Make sure you do not _______ on the Lord's Day, Sunday.

#4 Do not __________ a job that will not bring glory to God.

STEP #2:WORK ________ AND BE ___________

Genesis 3:19 “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.“

2 Thessalonians 3:10 “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat.“

1 Timothy 5:8 “If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

RESPONSIBILITY and HONESTY

Ephesians 4:28 “He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.”

2 Thessalonians 3:11-13 “We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies.

12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat.

13 And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right.”

THIRTEEN REASONS WHY MOST PEOPLE FAIL

1. Unwillingness to cooperate with or help others.

2. Unreliability, lack of dependability.

3. Discourteousness, rudeness, indifference to the other fellow's interests, wants, desires, point of view.

4. Carelessness, indifference - the "so what“ attitude: "I'll get by."

5. Sarcasm - "cutting the other fellow down to size", too free with the stinging rebuke and the humiliating remark, making fun of others.

6. Desire to domineer, wanting to boss others, acting superior.

7. Trouble-making, agitating, always dissatisfied, having a "the world owes me a living" attitude.

8. Laziness, loafing on the job, habitual lateness.

9. Disagreeableness, lack of respect for others, the "I'm right, but the world's all wrong" attitude.

10. Misconduct, violation of rules, unwillingness to conform to prescribed standards recognized as essential for the well-being of all.

11. Drinking any type of alcohol.

12. Dishonesty - lying of any kind.

13. Absenteeism, found wanting in the sense of responsibility.

TWELVE THINGS TO REMEMBER IF YOU WANT TO GET AHEAD

1. The value of time.

2. The success of perseverance.

3. Do not be discouraged, no matter what the problems seem to be.

4. Get pleasure out of your work.

5. The dignity of simplicity. Too many people want to dress up things beyond their worth and really destroy what worth they have.

6. The worth of character. Read the book of Proverbs often. One chapter a day will do wonders for you.

7. The power of kindness.

8. You must set the standard. God's standard, the Bible.

9. The obligation, duty and wisdom of economy.

10. The virtue of patience. There is nothing more important right now than patience.

11. The improvement of talent.

STEP #3: MAKE GOD YOUR _______________

Why must Christians covenant with God that they be partners?
