Basic Ingredients

1 16 oz. package of lasagna noodles

1 lb. of ground beefLasagna sauceDifferent cheeses

Lasagna Sauce Ingredients

8 oz. can of tomato sauce28 oz. can of crushed tomatoesTablespoon of chopped fresh parsleyClove of crushed garlic½ teaspoon of dried oregano½ cup of minced onion1/8 teaspoon of white sugar1 ½ teaspoon of dried basil and salt

Cheese Mixture Ingredients

1 lb. of small curd cottage cheese1 lb. of ricotta cheese3 eggs¾ cup of grated parmesan cheese2 teaspoons of salt¼ teaspoon of black pepper1 lb. of shredded mozzarella cheese

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degreesBoil a large pot of lightly salted

waterCook noodles for 8-10 minutesDrain and set aside

DON’T LET YOUR NOODLES BREAK!!!

Cook meat over medium heat in skilletMix the lasagna sauce ingredients

togetherStir the sauce into the skillet with

meatCook over medium heat for 30

minutesStir occasionally

Combine all cheese ingredientsMix into a large bowlGet a 9x13 baking dish for cookingPlace to the side until ready for use

Put two layers of noodles on bottom

Layer ¼ of lasagna sauce on topLayer ¼ of cheese mixture on topRepeat until all used and layered

Cover baking dish with aluminum foil

Bake in oven for 30-40 minutesRemove foil off of dishContinue baking for additional 5-10

minutesLet stand for approximately 10

minutes before cutting
