Hypothesis

• I believe the average is 7 from a rate from 1-10.

Data Collection

• I asked 50 juniors and 50 seniors to rate themselves from 1-10 on how tired they are in the morning.

Error Analysis

• The sample mean is 4.59, and the 90% confidence level for the population mean is between 4.25 to 4.93 .

• The sample error is that the seniors and juniors wake up at different times in the morning.

Conclusion

• I hypothesized that Century students average is 7 on how tired they are in the morning. In my survey of 100 students, I find the sample mean of 4.59 with a standard deviation of 2.040 . I conclude that the population mean for all the students is between 4.25 to 4.93 with 90% confident. I test my initial hypothesis with 5% level of significance, and confirm my hypothesis is wrong.
