Self Assessment, questionnaire:• Induce analysis and reflection…• Filled by individuals, subjective perception…• Promotes discussion on key issues…• Has advantages and disadvantages…• Some organizations are “over questioned”…• However, it is a useful tool, especially if combined

What is SWOT?
SWOT is the acronym for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. It is an easy-to-use self assessment tool that has been successfully utilized for some time by humanitarian and non-humanitarian organizations.
What can a SWOT do? It can….
• reveal hidden obstacles to a potential project
• positive elements that may not be immediately evident
• identify an organization’s main strengths and weaknesses
• pinpoint the most important outside opportunities and threats
