How Ideas Move
Dante Murphy@dantemurphy
People have ideas.
Lots of people.
Some of them are good.
People also belong to groups.
Groups of other people like themselves.
And groups of people not like themselves.
An idea may begin with an individual.
Or a group.
Ideas don’t move by themselves.
People make ideas move.
They are both senders and receivers.
Scouts find new ideas “in the wild”.
Connectors bring ideas to people who can use them.
There are many channels that ideas travel.
Some ideas are broadcast.
An idea can be transmitted via a relay.
Ideas can be found through research.
Ideas are one of the pillars of discussion.
All of these channels form a network.
Networks need to be nurtured.
Balance is essential.
A balanced network accelerates innovation.
A balanced network accelerates communication.
A balanced network accelerates adoption.
Optimize your network.
Participate in all of the channels.
Keep the ideas moving.
Thanks.
