(G17Plus/United Regions of Serbia)It was a pleasure to meet people who are already part of history. Meeting with decision makers, presentations of work inthe EP and other institutions, contacts with colleagues fromsister parties are invaluable. I think I have sharpened my
diplomatic skills, learned to be patient in solving politicalproblems. I have passed my knowledge to my colleagues also.
(VMRO-DPMNE)Now I know how to act and what to do if I have the need andthe opportunity to work on a daily basis with EU institutions.
I improved my skill for networking and working in a group. AsI work in the Secretariat for European Affairs, I already usedsome gained knowledge in my everyday work.
(LDK)The course is basically the open door for young and promisingpoliticians to cope and work together for their aims and try to find alternative ways of understanding each other.
(PD-L)The RSI experience led to creating valuable links with the
other participants as well as to interesting developments in mycareer. Whi le visi ting the Europeaninstitutions and attending the lectures on theinception and enlargement of the EU, I havestarted to consider Brussels becoming my newcareer target. With hard work and assiduity,
I was able to find employment opportunitieswithin the next 6 months and at thebeginning of 2008 I was already living andworking in Brussels. After serving theRomanian Delegation to the EPP, today I amworking for the EPP Group in the EuropeanParliament. I believe RSI can be a reliablepartner creating opportunities with itstraining programmes and events.

(Vice President of the Party of Democratic Action(SDA) and Director of the Political Academy of SDA, BiH)SDA deeply appreciates your involvement and assistanceprovided to us in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The educationalcontribution that you have made is tremendous for our future
leaders in the Western Balkans where they often face manyobstacles in their young political careers.
(Chairman of the Board, Croatian StatehoodFoundation of HDZ)The program helps young politicians to better understand
Europe and its identity. As Croatia is joining the Union shortly, the program is very beneficial.
(International Secretary of VMRO-DPMNE)For any candidate country it is useful to get a first handexperience with European institutions. A combination of lectures and a field visit to Brussels with RSI benefited our partystaff as well as ministry officials with previous knowledge andexperience.
