Teachers have to manage many situation in the classroom and outside of it, and these situations always
present new challenges and can be improve, analyzing, criticizing and applying those conclusion into our
system as thinkers teachers, the objective of reflecting is to improve the efficiency and efficacy of our
praxis, how fast we are solving problems, how clear our objectives will be, how planned will be the
process to achieve them and how often we will achieved them too.
To solve problems and achieve the objectives is very important to reflect about our teaching, ask
ourselves about what went wrong and why went wrong, in these terms our teaching learning process
will be improved because we will focus our efforts on things that we are doing wrong and we will be on
the road of perfection, perfecting our teaching every day, affecting directly on our students learning, on
our praxis, and improving our school community with good practices.
It very important to install in our routines, reflecting actions as making list of the thing that made us
uncomfortable during the day and tabulating our students results, doing these exercise will arise how
good we are as teachers, making us more professional and it will be reflected on how our students will
fell in the classroom and how much they are going to learn.
Analyzing most of our actions as teacher and doing reflecting actions, as an omniscient narrator who
knows and sees everything, we will notice that the teaching learning process is going to be improved.
Reflecting on our teaching learning process affect how good we are with paperwork, how happy
students and parents feel with our teaching, how effective and efficient we are managing resources and
time in the classroom with the teaching and learning process and outside the classroom with the
administrative paperwork, how professionally close we are with our colleagues, how good our classroom
look, how wide is our knowledge on teaching techniques and methodologies and how accurate we are
applying these ones, how successful our school is and how much our country will grow.
Reflection as a teachers practice cannot be forgotten or avoid, it must be systematic in our daily
activities as teachers and also we must reflect about our reflecting process.
