How do you think youth is represented in Waterloo road? Is it realistic? In the clip there are various stereotypes which are shown, and also anti stereotypes. Judgemental against others. – judge older/more superior Easy arguments created. Some can be selfish. Attention seeking/big headed. Generous people around. – Anti Stereotype Picking on younger/new students. Chavy- language use “innit” slang. Social influence. Sibling rivalry. Trying to impress/big mouth. Untrustworthy. Peer pressure. Dignity. --- Anti Stereotype because people don’t expect teenagers to stick up for each over. Mock. Role model. Bitchy girls. Goes back to slavery times when the whites would abuse the blacks. So makes people realise that times have changed and the blacks stick up for themselves and other people.
