A step-by-step guide to finding the full-text of articles through Pilgrim Library.

If you have a complete article citation and you want to find the full-text of the

article, follow these steps:

Step 1: Make sure you have all your citation information, especially journal title and year.

Step 2: Go to the library homepage and click on Journal Finder.

Write the title of your journal in the Known Title search

box.

Journal information will appear below. Scroll until you find the journal title you were

looking for.

Under the title of the journal, you will see hyperlinks and dates. The hyperlinks go to the database that provides an online copy of

the journal you want. Sometimes a journal is popular and is covered by multiple databases. Click on the link to whichever

database has coverage for the year your require.

The look of this page may vary according to database, but typically the next step to finding your article is to click

on the year of publication, then the correct volume/issue.

Again, other databases may look differently. Once you get to this point, you are able to browse through the

journal just like you would in print. Scroll until you find the article you were

searching for.

What if my Journal Title isn’t in the Journal Finder?

Though we have an impressive collection of online journals, there are still many journals that we don’t have

access to. If you cannot find the full text of the article you want, visit this helpful website and follow its directions:
