How did you Attract/Address your Audience?

Pop music is better covered and bigger than alternative/rock music which means that indie rock bands are harder to find to some degree due to the lack of coverage.

I attracted my target audience to my music magazine with the use of the sticker feature claiming that the magazine found “20 new bands for you”

Through my own experience I know when searching through “20 new bands” that some will be good for you.

All music lovers do, by knowing this the sticker feature would lure any reader into reading the magazine.

This is the “Active Audience” theory which states that audiences naturally decode information and are interested in them depending on their interests for example.

By using the active audience theory, I knew that the audience would be enticed to read the magazine through he use of the sticker feature.

This theory was the true reason how I would attract the target audience because it helped me understand the sub conscious of readers and why they would attracted to something.
