Because our target audience is between the ages of 15 and 30 we could use a variety of new, popular and cheap media such as the internet.

Because we are an independent film company and therefore don’t have much money we would use a pull marketing technique by using social media such as Youtube, Facebook and twitter to advertise our film because it is free and almost everyone between the ages of 15-30 has access or uses these medias frequently. What we would do is put a trailer of our film on youtube then upload that onto social network sites such as Facebook and twitter. Hopefully enough people will se the trailer and we can get a lot of people spreading our film through word of mouth. We intend to get a lot of publicity through gimmicks and stunts, the idea is we have men dressed up in suits to look like blatant secret agents and then we have them chase an actor through a busy public place with them making as much noise and commotion as possible. We believe the stunt will attract a lot of attention and therefore get a lot of people interested in the film.

Our most unique selling point is a massive plot twist at the end because almost every Hollywood film has a happy ending that restores faith in humanity for the viewer but our ending is very different and will leave the audience shocked. Through out the film the audience will think that a secret agent left the agency because he didn’t agree with what they are doing and how it operates and through out the film the agency is trying to hunt him down under the “false” accusation that he has stolen 3 million pounds from the government and leaked the identities of undercover operatives that have infiltrated terrorist organisations. In the end the agent kills the agents working for the agency accusing he for stealing and leaking identities and reveals the money he really did steal and a hard drive containing the identities of the undercover operatives. We think this is unique because the protagonist is meant to be law abiding and on the side of good so throughout the film the audience trusts that he is good until the end when all of their trust has been broken and therefor leaving the audience with their faith in humanity lost.
