Why Clouds Came To Be, Part 2

Plarfoamen, always full of himself, made a cloud! He didn’t know what he did until he saw a big puff of

“smoke” in the sky. Plarfoamen threw his cup into the air and made something that will almost always be up

there! He couldn’t believe it. Someone needed to make a name for it. Plarfoamen was a Titan after all so it

was believable that he could throw it that high. Plarfoamen was on Earth at the time, so he went everywhere

thinking for a name. Where would he find a name?

He went to his sister who was also on Earth. He asked if she could think of a name for it. She said there

were some conditions before she is willing to help. Plarfoamen wanted to know what she was talking about,

so he kept asking her what she wanted. She said she wanted loyalty, and that it would be perfect to be the

goddess of the mysterious smoke. Plarfoamen refused to the condition, so his sister threatened. She said

that she would not help him find a name. Plarfoamen agreed because he had no other choice. His sister said

that it should be called clouds. She was now the goddess of clouds, Lenear.

Plarfoamen was very scared of telling Zeus about this. After all he was the ruler of the skies.
