HOW CAN I GET RID OF STAINS IN MY HOME?

We know how annoying stains can be thats why weve created this selection of handy stain removal tips

Two items you can use which you probably already have in one of your cupboards arevinegarandbaking sodawhich can get rid ofdozensof stains

Ink> Rubvinegarinto the ink stain using a damp cloth. If the stain is relatively old at this point, you could also use hairspray alongside vinegar.

Juice> Remove those tough dark juice stains such as cranberry or blackcurrant by soaking the stain in a solution ofvinegar+ water.


Gum> Get rid of those sticky spots gum leaves by soaking it invinegar for 10-15 minutes.


Crayon> Rubvinegarinto the crayon strain using a small brush. Afterwards, put it in the wash as normal.


Rust> Blot rust stains with a cotton ball dipped invinegar, followed by washing with warm water.


Petrol> Remove your petrol stains by covering the stainbaking soda for one hour before washing normally.


Ash> Treat your ash stain by rubbing inbaking sodawith a small brush. Afterwards, rinse with warm water.


Vomit> Scrubbaking sodainto vomit stains then wash with hot water.


Cooking Oil> Pre-treat the oil stain withbaking sodabefore washing.


Sauces> Particularly, ketchup, BBQ & mayo Baking sodawill lift the majority of the color out of the stain before being washed normally.


Vinegar and baking soda can also be used on the same stain


Blood> Use 1/2 cup ofbaking soda& 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide alongside water to sit on the stain. Or, pourvinegaronto a blood stain and leave to soak for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water.


Sweat> Create a paste ofbaking sodaand water to rub into the stain before washing with hot water. Or, pourvinegarover a sweat stain before rubbing salt into it and rinsing with hot water.


Grass> Make a paste ofvinegarANDbaking sodato cover the stain with and rub in with a small brush.


Coffee> Remove coffee stains by soaking the stain invinegar afterwards rinse with hot water. If the stain is still there, create a paste ofbaking sodaand water and cover the coffee stain with this for 10 minutes before again, rinsing with hot water.
