There are so many choices available for buying a car like :- hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrids, electric cars and more.

Hybrid Cars :-
You will also get a higher resale value on hybrids.
The hybrids deliver a poor handling with higher initial cost and expensive battery at time of
replacement.
These vehicles use one or more motors for combustion process.
Plug–in Hybrids :-
The plug-ins are more energy efficient and Eco-friendly
They are safe to drive with proper handling and they need less maintenance as they have fewer moving parts.
The plug-ins are good for short distance commute but they need more time to get charge.
The plug-in cars are expensive when it need replacement of the battery.
The natural gas using vehicles are more cleaner than other vehicle options.
Natural Gas Cars :-
They are more fuel efficient with a little need of maintenance
The owners of natural gas vehicles also get tax exemption with low refueling cost as its benefits.
There are very less infrastructures available for CNG fueling.
These vehicles have less horse power which ultimately leads to slower speed.
This vehicle alternative releases only water vapors as emission
Hydrogen fuel cells :-
It delivers a twice better fuel economy than gasoline vehicles and fuel is readily available everywhere.
The vehicle technology is very expensive and need an efficient on-board hydrogen storage.
The fuel energy is non-transportable and the fuel production releases more emission than other fuel alternatives.
This fuel alternative reduces the demand of oil and can be produced from waste material.
Ethanol using Vehicles :-
But this alternative delivers a 25% lesser fuel economy and fueling is not available in every fuel pump.
Selection of a vehicle as per need is difficult but you need to calculate the budget then make a purchase.
