Return ProcedureWhen returning equipment for repairs, warranty reimbursement or credit, these simple steps will help expediteyour request:

• Call (715) 234-1617, and ask for customer service. You will be issued a Return AuthorizationNumber to be included with the return merchandise.

• Please write the return authorization number on the outside of the package to help us speedyour package through our receiving process.

• Return equipment, freight prepaid.

WarrantyAll spray guns, parts and accessories sold, hereafter, “Products” by Mattson Spray Equipment, a Division ofRice Lake Weighing Systems, Inc., are warranted to be free from defects in title, materials and workmanshipunder normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment to the purchaser. MattsonSpray Equipment shall, as its sole and exclusive liability under this warranty, either repair or replace the noncon-forming products within a reasonable time after the return of any products, that are determined by MattsonSpray Equipment to be nonconforming, provided the nonconforming product is returned to Mattson SprayEquipment, at the customer’s expense, within the one year warranty period. This warranty is void if the productsare misused, abused or altered in any way. Mattson Spray Equipment shall in no event be liable for incidental,consequential, special, punitive or other damages of any kind under this warranty. In no case shall the amount ofMattson Spray Equipment liability exceed the purchase price of the nonconforming product. To achieve maximum flow-outwithout orange peel, use thenext slower solvent tempera-ture especially in high volumepaint booths and in hightemperatures.

Apply clear coats and acrylicenamels in two full wet coats.Medium wet coats do notcontain enough material forproper flow-out, giving anorange peel appearance.

For the best possible atomiza-tion, start with a smaller fluid tipsize. For increased fluid deliveryand production speed, increasefluid tip size.

As fluid tip size increases,atomizing air cap psi may needto be increased.

Always follow the paintmanufacturer’s ratios forreduction and catalyzation. Usea viscosity cup wheneverpossible.

IQTM TOP-LOAD PERFORMANCE NOTES:

1. If the gun’s air cap gauge does not maintain your pressure setting, your shop air system is not maintaining the aircaps CFM requirements.

2. When changing air caps, the air cap pressure setting may require adjustment for best results.

3. For maximum fluid flow, the TotalFlow® knob should always be set at the full open position.

4. To get maximum leveling and flow-out with heavy-bodied materials, use the full open fan setting, full open fluidknob position, and the lowest air cap pressure which gives good atomization.

5. For increased application rates with heavy-bodied materials, a separate cup pressure regulator is available topressurize the cup independent of the air cap setting. Contact your Mattson distributor for information.
