The Venue: Hotel Gracelands The Gracelands building has for a long time been associated with weddings. Back before our
accommodation service, it was well known as one of the best function centres in Parkes.
In 2013 the building was transformed and renovated into the modern Boutique Hotel which is
conveniently situated in a quiet setting and features 20 high quality accommodation rooms.
Accompanying our accommodation is an amazing restaurant “IKON” which provides outstanding
modern Australian cuisine; in addition, we have a large function room that we share and also work
together to provide an exceptional high quality service.
We are ready to cater for intimate weddings of numbers of 10-50 guests, to larger weddings of
numbers 50-100 guests. The function room has the potential to be transformed into your dream room.
Your dedicated wedding co-ordinator will go to any length to ensure your expectations are exceeded.
There are a variety of packages for you to choose from. We can offer delicious menu options and
innovative optional extras to make your wedding an unforgettable event. Conveniently your guests have
the option of staying right here at Hotel Gracelands so they can enjoy the evening knowing they have
not far to go once the celebration has concluded. Alternatively the bride and groom may wish to
occupy our Executive King room for the evening which will be tastefully decorated for a dream first
night together. We also have included some information about service suggestions to help you consider
every little detail of your special day.
You may even consider booking the entire hotel exclusively, accommodation, function room and Ikon
restaurant. What better way to celebrate than with the place to yourselves.

Our Ikon restaurant staff love food and pride themselves
on offering you an amazing meal experience. Another
option for the Buffet style dining is the “Shared Buffet”,
which is a selection of dishes that is served to the table
and guests between groups of 4 share from. This option means guest can stay seated but enjoy your
meal experience together.
Beverages Options Variety is the spice of life…except when you’re waiting in line at the bar.
Dry Bar
If you have a budget-conscious event, eliminating alcohol completely will help with the expenses. To
add options, consider a specialty non-alcoholic drink, such as mocktail jugs, punch and iced teas.
Beer and Wine
Offering beer and wine as the only alcoholic options
on the tab is cost-effective and keeps the bar line
moving forward so that guests have more time to
enjoy the event. All other drink varieties are available
at your guests own cost.
Full Bar
A special day deserves the best. Events with large
crowds or gatherings for an exceptional occasion
may call for a bar with full options for beer, wine and
mixed drinks on the tab. Please let your event
coordinator know if you would like to serve specialty drinks such as cocktails as they require additional
mixers and further staff to facilitate.

Want something really different!! Fireworks Display - Start your life together with a bang!
That’s right, here at Hotel Gracelands you gather for a toast to the
bride and groom at the front of the Hotel while having an a special
dedicated fireworks display to recognise the beginning of your
journey together!
All taken care of, this display is safely set up adjacent to the front of our hotel approximately 250
meters away, which is the perfect distance to view this spectacular display of high sky fireworks just for
your occasion.
We suggest this display to be a treat for your guest between entrée and dinner, however if you have a
preferred time just let us know. To further enquire about this option please contact your dedicated
wedding co-ordinator to find out more.
Ceremony in the Park
The Rotary Arboretum at the base of Memorial Hill in
Parkes is a beautiful setting to pledge your vows to each
other. Then your guest have only a short walk to relax at
the reception venue and await your arrival as Mr & Mrs
newlywed. We have all the information about making
this a possibility.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our mission is to provide high quality event facilities along with friendly & efficient service. In order to fulfil these aims, the following terms and conditions have been designed to ensure your event runs smoothly. Weddings and Stand-Alone Banquets A minimum non-refundable deposit of $300.00 must be paid within 7 days of this letter before the function will be confirmed and a further payment of 50% of the total estimated costs is required 3 months prior to the event. Final payment of all known expenditure will be due in full 7 days prior to the event and the balance (ie beverage consumed on the day) payable at the conclusion of the event, prior to departure. Please note that payment of the deposit is also an agreement to the terms and conditions of the contract. Estimated Final Charges

Cancellation (Function) If the event is cancelled: More than 6 months prior to the event, no extra penalty shall be payable. Any deposits paid by the client shall be forfeited to Hotel Gracelands Between 6 months – 1 month of the event, any deposits paid by the client shall be forfeited to Hotel Gracelands. Between 1 month – 14 days a charge of 50% of the total event will be incurred, including room hire, food costs & estimated beverage, based on the last guaranteed numbers given to Hotel Gracelands. Less than 14 days - of the event, full payment of the event will be incurred, including room hire, food costs & estimated beverage, based on the last guaranteed numbers given to Hotel Gracelands. Accommodation booked with the hotel direct: 7 or more days prior to arrival: Individual cancellations may be made at this stage without any cancellation penalty Between 7– 4 days prior to arrival: Any cancellation will incur a 50% cancellation penalty Within 3 days before arrival: All rooms need to be fully paid prior to the event. If cancelled within 3 days the cancellation will incur a 100% cancellation penalty No Shows – guests who fail to arrive at the hotel will be considered to have cancelled their reservation under the above clauses and will be subject to the appropriate cancellation fee.

Prices Hotel Gracelands will make every possible effort to maintain its prices, but its prices are subject to change, without notice, at Hotel Graceland’s discretion, to allow for changes in its charges and any changes in goods and services tax. Menu Selection Please confirm your menu selection at least 14 days prior to the event. The banquet event order shall be conclusive evidence of all the services to be provided by Hotel Gracelands. No food or beverage may be brought onto Hotel Gracelands premises for consumption unless previously agreed in writing with Hotel Gracelands. Guaranteed Numbers The guaranteed number of persons attending the function must be received by Hotel Gracelands no later than seven working days prior to the function. Hotel Gracelands shall be entitled to charge the client for the greater of
(a) The guaranteed number of persons notified to Hotel Gracelands by the client 7 days prior to the event; or
(b) The number of persons who actually attend the function. Insurance Hotel Gracelands accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by the client or its invites under any circumstances whatsoever. It is recommended that the client arrange its own insurance coverage. Safety and Security If Hotel Gracelands has reason to believe that a function or persons attending a function will affect its security, reputation or the smooth running of its business, it reserves the right to cancel or refuse entry to any function without any liability to the client or its guests The client or the client's key contact person will liaise at all times with the conference co-ordinator, or, in his or her absence, the operations manager/supervisor Hotel Gracelands may charge the client for additional security, at the rate of $40.00 per hour (plus GST) per additional security officer, for a minimum of two hours per security officer per day, should Hotel Gracelands deem the event to require such measures. Hotel Gracelands is unable to turn off or isolate its fire protection system in function areas. The client will not use flares, torches, pyrotechnics or any other special effects, which may activate Hotel Gracelands fire protection system without Hotel Gracelands prior written consent. The client will be liable for any damage, injury, costs and losses caused as a result of its failure to comply with the above. OSH Policy The Hotel Gracelands responsibility is to provide you with a safe environment in which to hold your event. You and your guests undertake not to tamper with any of the safety equipment in or around Hotel Gracelands.
Liquor Licensing Hotel Gracelands is legally required to act under the Sale of Liquor Act pertaining to the service of alcohol. Cleaning General and normal cleaning is included in the cost of the room hire. You will incur additional charges in instances where an event has created extra cleaning requirements. Additional Services We will be pleased to arrange a variety of additional services upon request, such as entertainment and technical equipment. A charge will be incurred for some services. If the event is cancelled, such service charges will be your responsibility.
