Be sure to always keep your personal life out of the picture when it comes to you job as a manager. There are many things that everyone is looking for in you, and it can affect others if it is negative. Think Leisure Put in massage parlors or areas both in and around the hotel .

Allow the customer to have a choice of: • Using the buffet • Having an assortment brought to them in the morning.

Keeping a clean and pristine hotel will be a pivotal point in the success of the hotel.
Keep the halls clear of clutter Vacuum, Windows, Freshener, Sheets, Plants that either
are alive or fake kept looking new and fresh, pool maintenance kept up.
Finances You as the hotel manager are fully responsible for all
expense incurred by the hotel other than costs caused by the client (damages).
You need to make sure that the money spent by the hotel never exceeds the money coming in. After all you are in the business to bring in profit, not deficit.
Understand that the economy will not always be great and plan you budget accordingly.
Try to always be one step ahead of any financial crisis that could occur. This is key to your competitive edge.
