Premiere magazine- this magazines image really pulled my attention as the girls mouth is open, symbolizing she is in pain without using words. He face is also dirty which shows that she’s been trying to escape.

What attracted myself to this poster was the eye make up, the use of redness underneath the eyes, which makes the person look extremely tired and serious. To me this confused myself as I wasn’t sure if the person on the front cover is a hero or a culprit.

The use of a close up shot in a horror magazine really pulls the viewers attention as it gives the effect of emotion on the persons face. So in this magazine, the man has a smerky smile but at the same time looks dangerous due to the red eye colour symbolizing danger. He doesn’t look clean either, which shows he’s been involved in a mystery.

The use of a mask on the face of this person was a good idea as it is almost like a shadow, which also is like an emotionless character, which keeps the audience confused. It is also hiding the identity of the person which shows is very mysterious and automatically influences the audience to want to find out the story behind it.
