    Horrid, bloody, intense and value nothing are the depictions one can madeout of picturing out how was the Trojan war started fiercely by warriors. It wasbecause of Paris who took Helen from his husband Menelaus, the king of Sparta.Trojan War is the biggest event which contributed a lot to the Greek mythology.This is one of Homers works which speaks primarily about the struggles andconflicts between gods and goddesses.

    The Illiad is an important work of Homer after having narrated the thingshappened during the Trojan War. A continuation of the battles of gods but for thistime the mortals are just being influenced by the will of Gods just like the will ofZeus. Zeus will is infallible and so the events that occur are all destined to happen.

    Moving into the analysis of events happened. The Illiad or sometimesreferred to as the Song of Ilion is an epic poem describing how the city of Troy

    enveloped with darkness for having experiencing the complications bought by thewar. The poem begins with a fight between the Greeks leader King Agamemnon ofMycenae and the Greeksbest fighter Achilles. Both of them are prideful that they

    cannot even know how to control it. They let their pride rule their lives. Briseis isthe woman captured by Achilles and took her as his slave. She is such a lovelywoman that King Agamemnon feel interested with. Since King Agamemnon is thecommander in chief of Greek warriors, he has the power to have and get all hewanted and liked. He get Briseis from Achilles with just saying that he is thecommander in chief and he is the leader. Achilles got angry with the King. Thus,without further inquiries he decide to left the group of warriors and refused to fightanymore. With this, Greeks starting losing during the battles. Patrioclos, the friendof Achilles had decided to dress like Achilles and tried to fight for the Greeks but itwas a failure. He was killed throughout indulging and sacrificing himself just toreturn the victory of the Greeks Achilles is their leader in fighting. Patrioclos deathwas primarily because of Acilles by first refusing to fight , leaving the Greeks at

    disadvanrage and wrongly and poorly advising his friend to join the fighters.Achilles, upon knowing the death of Patrioclos decided to fight again. Victory ofGreeks was then observed. After this, the best Trojan fighter Prince Hector cameout from Troy to fight with Achilles. After their long battles it was again Achilles whowin. He had killed Hector. The Illiads final scene was very mournful whan KingPriam , Hectors father came to Achilles to ask for his sonss body back. Trojan buryHector
