2. MOBILITY RULE the ER must not have resided or carried out main activities (study/work) in the country of host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior the call deadline.

BUT

In the CAR and RI the rule applies for more than 3 years in the last 5 years prior to the call deadline.

2 eligibility criteria for researchers

1. ER support to EXPERIENCED Researchers at the call deadline ER must have: a PhD degree or 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience

to Europe (EF): researchers of any nationality and from all countries (exception Reintegration Panel like for GF)

to third country (GF): nationals of EU MS/AC and long-term residents ( 5 consecutive years in research in MS or AC)

international mobility allowing personal and career development as well as enhancement of collaboration and transfer of knowledge;

research project with focus on innovation & interdisciplinarity;

participation in conferences and advanced trainings in the research area and complementary skills (ethics, IP, project management) needed for further development of a researcher’s career;

deepening or acquiring new knowledge and skills through inter- sectoral mobility;

secondment option up to 6 months to another institution located in MS/AC, preferably in other sector than the beneficiary’s;

communication and dissemination of project results publication, patents, promotion, ….;

popularization of science among the general public social media, press articles, scientific festivals, …;
