VoiceMail/Incoming Call Indicator Light

VMail—Voicemail. Press to access your voicemail box. Enter your security code to listen to your messages.. To leave a message in another box, press the * (star) key and the extension. To listen to messages in another box, press * (star), # (pound), the box number, and the security code.

FwdAll—Forward All. Use this to turn phone off to all external calls. To Forward All to Voicemail,:

1. Lift receiver2. Press FwdAll Key3. Enter 41504. Hang Up

To cancel FwdAll:1. Lift receiver2. Press FwdAll key3. Hangup

This line is your phone, with the your name or the name of the location.

For DT330 Series, two lines of menu items can be displayed at a time. For DT730 Series, three lines of menu items can be displayed at a time. The following figure shows the menu screen for DT330 Series. Use "Up" or "Down" key to scroll to the item.

Note: DT310/DT710 (2-Button without LCD andDT310 [6-Button with LCD]) does not havethe Cursor Key.

All teachers and staff with an extension need to have a voicemail box with a personal greeting.

Initializing Your MailboxUse your phone extension to setup your voicemail box.

✤Press VMail or dial 4150✤The temporary security code is 5500✤Follow the prompts that guide you:

•Enter a new Security Code of 4-15 digits. Do not use your extension number or 1-2-3-4.•Record your mailbox Name (first & last name)•Record a personal greeting—keep it short and simple.

✤Tips•After hearing “congratulations” hang up. Your voice mail setup is now complete.•Press 2 key to start and stop recording•After recording press 5 to Save; press 6 to Review or press 4 to Discard•Press # key for HELP at anytime•Press * key to cancel an entry

Accessing Voicemail✤From your phone (when using the phone assigned to you, your will go directly to your voicemail box)

•Press VMail or dial 4150•Enter your Security Code•Follow voice prompts

✤From another person’s phone in the district (a phone that is someone’s assigned extension)

•Press VMail or dial 4150•Press the star key *•Press the pound key # and your extension•Enter your security code•Follow voice prompts

✤From a district phone not assigned to a person (eg conference room phone, classroom phone) or from outside the district

•Press VMail or Dial 952.988.4150 (if outside the district•When voicemail answers press pound # and your extension/•Enter your security code

Placing Calls✤Lift receiver or press speaker✤Dial party’s 4-digit extension or✤Dial “9” and party’s telephone number

Redial✤Lift receiver or press speaker ✤Press Redial (left side of the jog key)✤Continue press Redial until desired number is display. The last 5 numbers dialed are stored.✤Press “*” (star) to place call

Placing Calls on Hold✤Press the Hold key once ✤To return to the held call, press blinking line key.✤Lines placed on hold will ring back after a period of time to remind you they are on hold. To prevent this, press Hold twice for exclusive hold (call will not ring back).

Transferring CallsWith a call in progress

✤Press Transfer key ✤Press party’s extension number✤Hang up to complete transfer.✤Extras

•To get a caller back while hearing ring-back tone, press Transfer key•If voicemail answers, press the DISC soft key to disconnect voicemail and return to the caller.•To transfer a caller directly to party’s voice mailbox, follow the first two steps , and then press REDIR soft key and hangup.

3-Way Conference CallWith a call in progress

✤Press Transfer key ✤Press party’s extension number or 9 plus outside phone number✤When party answers, announce conference call.✤Press Conf soft key to establish conference✤Extras

•If party doesn’t answer or you misdialed, press Transfer to return to original party•If voicemail answers, press DISC soft key to disconnect voicemail and return to original party.

SpeakerPhone/MicrophoneAll phones have speakerphone capability. Just press the Speaker button and Mic button. You can keep the Mic button lit all the time.

Call ForwardingAll extensions assigned to a person will forward to voicemail when busy or not answered. Extensions for conference rooms, gyms, secondary classrooms, etc. do not have voicemail setup.

The FwdAll key on your phone is to turn off the phone to external calls. For example, elementary classrooms may want to turn off the phone to external calls during instructional time.

Programming Speed Dial or One-Touch Keys✤Press Feature key (do not lift receiver) ✤Press any open One-Touch button that you wish to program (Open buttons are labeled SPD)✤Dial the phone number you want as a speed dial--either a 4-digit extension or 9 plus the outside phone number.✤Press Feature key to save the number

Naming Speed Dial One Touch Keys✤Press Name soft key✤Press speed dial key to name✤Type name using letters on dial pad (Just like entering letters when texted on a phone dial)

•Display will show further options.•Maximum of 8 characters.•When selecting the same digit or letter consecutively, you must press the arrow right soft key (in display) to move the cursor over.
