Established a HOPE Community
Centre on the outskirts of Kabul,
offering employable skills such as
Computer and communication
English.
HOPE COMMUNITY CENTRE
More than 90 students have
graduated from the community
centre in the last 16 months, who
now have better scope for
employment and a hope of
betterfuture.

Currently training over 122 young
Afghans from low income
backgrounds. The students and the
local community are very grateful for
the opportunities created by the centre.

We are in the 13th year of operation.
Started with one small clinic and four
staff in 2001.
Grew to 150 staff working to help
millions of poor Afghans through
health, education, irrigation and
vocational programs.

Kabul and Kandahar
•Baseline surveys on HIV/AIDS
knowledge among 9-12th grades in Hirat,
Mazar-e-Sharif, Jalalabad and Kabul
•OB-GYN survey nationwide and Training
in Kabul and Logar Provinces
• Research program funded by GAVI-
MoPH in Badakshan, Faryab, Kapisa and
Wardak
Healthcare
Asian Development Bank funded various
Vocational & Computer training programs in
Wardak, Ghazni, Paktya, Kabul & Kandahar
along the road from Kandahar City to Spin

Education & Vocational Training
Construction of Hospitals:
• Karte-Seh Hospital Kabul.
• Emergency dept. at Malalai
Maternity Hospital.

Delivered 22 cargo containers of food
and clothes to the poor during the winter

Hospital feeding program
Provided heaters and fuel during the
winter months to 12 hospitals in Central
Afghanistan.
