TRANSCRIPT
Thankfully, the rain stopped
after the tour so that we could all
enjoy a dry Army Football game up
at Michie Stadium. Then the real
fun started as the Class of 1981
hosted some of the Frog Firsties at
their Frog Tailgate. In true Frog
tradition, there was a KEG and all,
which provided some great memo-
ries: 33 year old confessions, 0.67
GPA references, Frog pranks, and
many more.
Thank you Class of 1981
for the great time! Any Frogs
visiting the area, just contact
CDT Ashley Phillips if you would
like to hang out with the Frogs!
Some grads leave West
Point and take an oath to never
come back again. Others, espe-
cially the Old Frogs, love to
come back! The past weekend,
Company F4 had the privilege of
hanging out with the Class of
1981 F4 Frat.
The day started with a
canceled parade. WOAH!! Then
the Class of 1981 came by the
Swamp to get a tour of the new
barracks. After showing them
the dayroom, the only thing they
said the rest of the day was
“where are the couches?” But
seriously , many were
upset that there are no
more dayrooms like
they knew them. In-
stead, we have the col-
laboration room with
NO couches.

IOCT. DIDN’T WE ALREADY TAKE THAT? For some of our Old
Frogs, I should explain the new
system of the IOCT. For those who
don’t remember it is the 2-5 minute
indoor obstacle course from h3ll,
but they added a twist. Class of
2016 is the first class that is now
required to take it
every year. Cow year, is
still the grad require-
ment, but that is simply
not enough for DPE.
They now must prove
they can pass the IOCT
each year.
It was a
great showing for
the Class of 2016
Frogs though with
our own SGT
Gibbons running a sub 3 minute.
Luckily for them, they all get one
more time to show the Department
without a Heart (DPE) that they can
STILL do the IOCT.
