Hello GMC Bulldogs!!! I hope your first couple of weeks have been amazing!!! As you may already know, midterms are fast approaching. Remember to study and do all of your work. Go see some of the fantastic tutors that we have in person as well as online. Also, some study tips are: do not wait until the last minute to study, highlight important facts, make study notes/cards, and maybe start a study group. I hope and I want to encourage all of you to do well on your midterms. On another tip, if you do not do well, meet with you Professor to see what you can do to improve on your final and in the class in general. If you have any problems, questions, or concerns, do not hesitate to ask me. If you would like to suggest things for me to talk about just give me a holler. Remember, I am Tee and all you have to do is ask me!!

VMAs Rundown:
The MTV Video Music Awards was show stopping.
Some of the best performances in the business hit
the stage. One of the best was Sam Smith, who
took the stage singing his smash hit “Stay With
Me.” Sam had everyone at home crying for no
reason; his singing is just that good. Winners of the
night include Miley Cyrus, Drake, Katy Perry, and
more, but the biggest winner had to be Beyoncé.
She took the stage to sing what seemed like her
whole album, but the best part had to be when
little Blue Ivy cheered for her mother while she
accepted her award. How did Beyoncé shut
down 106 & Park? Karrueche Tran, the new
co-host of the show, took her time to make a joke
about how nappy Blue Ivy’s hair was at the awards show! OH NO! Next thing
you know the show has stopped for a whole week for the first time in 8 years.
Behold, the power of the Bey.
New Releases:
In other news, T.I. announced his new album. Jennifer Hudson new album, JHUD,
will be released September 23. Wiz Khalifa’s new album, Blacc Hollywood, took
the number one spot on Billboard 200, and you should go pick it up!

An Inspirational Tidbit, brought to you by Bre’shan Williams
Dictionary.com defines “Inspire” as “to produce or arouse a feeling or thought.” The goal when
inspiring others is to show them they can be successful in life through any circumstances. Never
give up on your dreams and they will turn into reality. Yvonne Harvey-Williams is a great, inspiring
speaker whose motto is “It’s not about your start; it’s all about your finish…so finish BIG!”
