Honeymoon Tour
British Columbia, the Rockies & Hawaii
№ 991-14
The journey that we propose in these pages will stay in your memory as a kaleidoscopic
succession of different emotions. You will visit different places with peculiar flora, fauna and
nature of each of them. The beauty of nature will surround you wherever you go, along with
adventure, pristine environments, relaxation, and top class service. These features make it an
ideal honeymoon.
We will start from Vancouver, bright
and modern city on the West Coast of
Canada, and continue to Vancouver
Island, the most beautiful island in
North America, famous for its almost
incomparable scenery, as well as the
magnificent fauna that populates its
forests and its waters; you will get
introduced to it through several
excursions: three species of whales,
dolphins, orcas, grizzly bears.
Another unforgettable experience will be crossing
Inside Passage by ferry, a true mini-cruise along a
protected waterway teeming with wild life both in its
waters and along the coasts of the mainland and
numerous islands which protect it. From Prince
Rupert, the port of arrival, we’ll take another “ride”
full of emotions: we’ll go South to the great parks of
the Canadian Rockies, passing through an area of
primary importance for native populations
("Indians") along
Skeena Valley,
finally reaching the
Rockies, announced
by the view of
Mount Robson, and
then we’ll arrive in
Jasper. From here
we’ll start a tour to
the enchanting lakes, majestic glaciers, to the
Rocky Mountains trails, following perhaps the
most scenic road of the world, the Icefields
Parkway.
The last part of this journey will bring you to a
totally different place, the relaxing tropical
atmosphere of Hawaii, between dream beaches,
ancient volcanoes, lush and exuberant nature.
It will be the perfect culmination of your ideal
honeymoon.

After a sumptuous breakfast in the
hotel in front of the enchanting Bay,
you will head to the West. In 10
minutes you will arrive in Hanalei Bay
Beach Park. The entire Hanalei Bay is
a long stretch of white sand; it is a
favourite destination of many local
and foreign surfers. After a snack you
will take the Kuhio Highway
(Highway 56) heading towards the
Interior of Kauai. Here you can start
an amazing adventure through the
forests and valleys of the island!
Along t he way there are many sights,
which rise on the depths of Waimea
Canyon; the most impressive is surely
the Waimea Canyon Overlook: stop to
admire the canyon in all its grandeur,
you won’t be disappointed. Free
dinner ti me
Day 3: Discovering the sea
of Kauai. Anini Beach
Take the Kuhio High way and turn
after a few minutes of driving to
Kalihiwali Road. Then take Anini
Road and enjoy a day at A nini
Beach Park, an almost 5 km long
beach, protected by one of the
longest coral reefs in Hawaii: this is
a perfect place to snorkel. The
lagoon is home to many marine
species, such as triggerfish,
parrotfish and unicorn fish. The
sea breeze blowing on the area also
attracts many of those who love
windsurfing, kite boarding and kite
surfing. After a kayaking tour in
the beautiful Bay, return to your
hotel for dinner before at the time of
wonderful sunset.
Day 4: Majestic and magnificent
Napali Coast
In the morning of the fourth day you will
wake up early to go to Hanapepe Bay, in
the southern part of the island. It's 30
miles of untouched nature, with the Green
pinnacles mountains, 1200 m high tower
overlooking the sea. After admiring the
coast you will cross the channel that se
parates Niihau from Kauai, "The
Forbidden Island". With population of
only 250 inhabitants, is the smallest of the
inhabited islands of Hawaii, long off limits
to visitors. Once you arrive in Niihau,
you’ll have a day dedicated to snorkeling.
After visiting Niiahu you’ll go back to
Hanapepe Bay. From here move westward along the Salt Pond Road and relax in the Salt
Pond Beach Park, an ideal place to swim and sunbathe in full privacy. In the late afternoon
you will return to the hotel and have free dinner time.
Day 5: Tunnels Beach
Just 15 minutes away from your resort, lies Haena Point, where Tunnels Beach is located,
surely one of the most exciting places on the island for snorkeling, diving or surfing. What
makes it unique is its wide lagoon and its impressive coral reefs: Tunnels Beach has two coral
reefs, one indoor and one outdoor, the latter is so impressive that it’s visible even from the
space! And they're like galleries, tunnels, opening in the barrier reef and giving the name to
the beach, and that makes it so special.
It's time to take the
road to the airport
where you will
return the car and
proceed to the
boarding gate for a
flight that will take
you to Maui another
pearl of the
Hawaiian
archipelago.
Part 3: Hawaii (Maui)
Day 1:
On arrival you are to collect your
4 × 4 and travel to your
accommodation at a stunning 4-
star resort along the most
beautiful beach of Maui. As soon
as you have refreshed, in the
early afternoon you will take your
first trip to Ahihi Kinau Preserve.
It is accessed by a road which is
not marked on the maps. If the
conditions are of dead calm in the
Bay, snorkeling can be excellent. Despite
being e asily reachable by car, Ahihi
Kinau keeps the atmosphere of a "corner
at the end of the world", charming with its
simplicity.
Day 2: North of Maui and Kapalua Bay
Beach
Honolua Bay is located in the northern part of
Maui and is part of the Mokuleia Marine Life
Conservation District. The rocky beach is ideal
for sunb athing, but the calm waters of the Bay and the incredib le variety of marine species
make Honolua Bay a great place for diving and snorkeling. The Honolua Bay of Maui in its
north-west part also offers many other beaches, such as D.T. Fleming Beach, Oneloa Bay. But
one place not to miss is Kapalua Bay Beach: located just to the North of Napili Bay, Kapalua
Bay Beach has been repeatedly elected the best beach in the world! After spending a day of
snorkeling and sun in Maui, you will return to your hotel.
Day 3: Kanayo Coast and Molokini
Crater
Head to Kihei, on the West coast of the island,
discovering two of the wonders of the Kanaio
Coast Maui and Molokini Crater. You will first
come into contact with the Kanaio Coast,
where the lava, cooling , gave birth to a
beautiful, really like conformations caves,
arches and caves. Then it’ll be the turn of La
Perouse Bay, often frequented by dolphins with
their cubs, who come to boats to play with the
waves. After leaving La
Perouse Bay, start your trip
today to Molokini Crater, an
ancient volcanic crater
almost totally submerged,
and now considered one of
the best spots for s
norkeling in Hawaii. After
leaving Molokini you’ll go to
Makena, where you can
swim among sea turtles.
Your adventure will end
back in Kihei with a visit to
the Humpback Whale
National Marine Sanctuary.
Day 4: Haleakala
Your fourth day in Maui will be dedicated to the
exploration of Mount Haleakala, the highest mounta
in of Maui. Haleakala, which literally means "House
of t he Sun", is actually a volcano and the largest
dormant volcano in the world: its last eruption
dates back to 1790. It reaches 3000 meters of
altitude and the crater is true is really huge: It’s 11
km in diameter, 3 kilometres wide and 800 feet deep.
Your stroll will start at a height of 150 metres above
sea level and you’ll continue ascending through the
groves of guava, acacia and eucalyptus. You will pass
next to a waterfall while entering
deeper and deeper into the nature of
Maui, that also includes bamboo,
ginger and plants typical of the place.
This will be a truly extraordinary
experience, which you will never
easily forget, a day in close contact
with the unique flora of Hawaii!
Day 5: The road to Hana
This will be the last trip before your
departure: "the road to hana", famous for
the beauty of its unspoilt landscapes and
impressive waterfalls. The area is known as
"The Land That Time Forgot" and you'll see
why when you're there. Enjoy the unique
experience of trekking in the bamboo forest,
an area filled with mystery, wonder and
photo opportunities. Although this trail is
really family friendly, it's an unforgettable
experience featured by relaxing sound
emitted by wind through bamboo. You can
see tropical birds and other wild animals.
