How to enable ActiveX and TLS1.0 on web browser
You need to activate ActiveX and TLS1.0 to use HONDA Mobile Connect.Open Internet Explorer.On the menu bar click Tools > Internet Options.

Open Internet Explorer.On the menu bar click Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Internet.Click Custom level .

Portal Screen Display
After registering a new account or applying for a password reset, the user will receive an email with appropriate directions. After connecting to the link provided in the email, the user can configure initial settings (password, display language etc).
After accessing the URL contained in the welcome mail, the user will connect to the HONDA network.* Feel free to bookmark this URL for future ease of access.
Display language (Japanese/English)Password and other initial settings can be configured* The Welcome mail will be sent to the address provided during application.
After authentication, the user will be fully connected to the HONDA network.
Upon the first time accessing the site, or when there has been subsequent upgrades to the VPN version, the VPN module (Active X) will download automatically
Once a user has been authenticated, and connectivity established, links to the available systems will be displayed in the portal screen. Once this screen displays, connectivity to the HONDA network is fully established.

Access the login page and connect to the HONDA Network
Click on the "Maintenance Menu" on the authentication screen, and provide your authentication credentials.
Choose "1. Password Reset" from the Maintenance Menu and change your password* "2. Language Settings" allows the user to change their display language

Users of the HONDA Mobile Connect Service must change their password every 3 months. 30 Days prior to password expiry, password expiration notifications will display on the user authentication screen. Please change your password within the allotted time.* If the user password has expired, the user will be automatically routed to the change password screen.* Users will receive email reminders that their password will expire, 30 days prior, the day prior, and the day the password expires.

HONDA Mobile Connect
Honda Mobile Connect service has following password rule, please bear in mind.
-- Password setting
- Password of HONDA Mobile Connect Service requires 8 digits at least.You can not register password less than 8 digits.
- Users of the HONDA Mobile Connect Service must change their password every 3 months. 30 Days prior to password expiry, password expiration notifications will display on the user authentication screen. Please change your password within the allotted time.Users will receive email reminders that their password will expire, 30 days prior, the day prior, and the day the password expires.
- If you entered the wrong password 5 times your account will be locked and you will be unable to login to the HONDA Mobile Connect Service.After 120 minutes the lock would be released automatically, Note, if you enter the wrong password only one time, immediately after your account isreleased, your account will be locked for an additional 120 minutes.
If you forgot your password please reset your password according to the process outlined in Questions and Answers.

- Maximum session length is limited to 2 hours.If your session is inactive for one hour, you will be logged out.
If you need to continue using the service, please reconnect.
- When you terminate your session select " Sign-out" on the menu to terminate your session.

1.New User, Password Initialization Procedure

When your application completed, you will receive an initial setting mail from the Mobile Connect Center to your registered mail address.
Click URL on your mail, and browser willpop up with your setting screen (1-2).
Your initial entry password will be needed, when you reconfigure your password (1-6).

Select your language.
If you choose "Japanese", all character beyond this screen will be shown in Japanese.
If you choose "English", all character beyond this screen will be shown in English.

Select your resolution (screen size).
You need to select the right size to fit your mobile.
800 x 600 is the recommended setting.

Click Mobile Connect Password Entry and move on to password setting.

1. Password Initialization Procedure
This screen shows the resetting of your password.
Enter your original password on the password field, and confirmation filed.Click GO!.

You will be asked to reset the initial temporary password provided after initial registration.
Copy and paste your"temporary password" from your initial
setting mail witch you have received on (1-1).
Click "LOGIN".

Your password reset is now completed.

2. Normal Operation Procedure

When you have finished your password initialization, you will receive a Welcome email from the Mobile Connect Center indicating you are ready to begin using the service.
Click URL, and access the log-in screen.

Enter your password and click "LOGIN" .

When your password is confirmed, the portal screen will show up with bookmarks linking to your available services.
* Please note that you will use this screen to log-out (sign-out), so be careful not to close this browser (Minimizing the browser is ok).

The screen at left will show up when you have failed to log-in. Please close the browser, and try again from the beginning of the log-in procedure (2-1).

When you want to end your remote connection, right click the Network Connect icon on the task tray.

Select " Sign-out" on the menu to sign-out.
*Note: Please follow this procedure and sign-out properly. Failure to do so will keep your session alive on the server and continue to consume system resources.

Please access the URL provided in the Welcome email and click"Login"

After your password is confirmed you will see the Maintenance Menu Screen.Choose "1. Password Reset" from the menu to change your password

Your password has now been changed.
Go back to login screen and login with your new password.

Enter your new password into the password field and the confirmation field on the password change screen.Then click "OK".
*The new password must differ from the current password.
