Evacuation – Invacuation – LockdownSeminar and Workshop

We would like to invited yourself, your Deputy/Assistant Head, Business Manager and/or Premises Manager to attend the above event which has been arranged following the publication of recent Government guidance issued in January 2016. This seminar and workshop has been designed to assist, help and give guidance to schools in managing a potentially violent or dangerous situation in or around the school premises. This free event will be held on the:-

12th January 2017 1st March 2017 14th June 2017

The events will be held between 09:00hrs and 13:00hrs at West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Headquarters Training Centre, Bradford Road, Birkenshaw, BD11 2DY.

Topics covered will include:- Presentations covering:-

o Invacuation (including Lockdown)o Evacuation for reasons other than Fire (including silent evacuation)o School Site Security

Workshop scenarios which may require invacuation/lockdown and/or evacuation Q & A session

The above seminar and workshop is in collaboration with the following parties – Bradford Council, Calderdale Council, Kirklees Council, Leeds City Council, Wakefield Council, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, North East CTU and West Yorkshire Police.
